Obama is still the president of the US until January 20th and it was his failure to let the people of this country know that Russian hacking was a sure thing. He might have been influenced in his decision by other actors on the political stage, but in the end, it was his responsibility to let the American public know that it was the Russina' doing the hacking and supplying Wikileaks with the info. We will never know what effect that the info had on the elections, maybe nothing at all. but Obama should have let the nation know and in the end he is responsible for the failure to do so.

No. No one can stop any country from trying to steal information about another country. That would make ruler in the world that ever existed a failure.

The only one to blame is the democrats for not taking the appropriate measures to safeguard their information. Point that finger right back in your own face because it is you that is responsible for the security of your secrets. This is nothing but a bunch of spoiled no one loses crybabies trying to put the blame on someone else. Type to man up and should some responsibility.

You are right that it is odd that he would keep mum on the issue, when the CIA is outspoken and the President-Elect has an opposite opinion.

It is definitely correct that the dangers of under protecting sensitive data should have been known and defended against.
