PR. The Right knows how to play the game. The Left, not so much.

Senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said in an interview Monday that she is considering leading a group being formed that will provide “a surround-sound super structure” to bolster the new administration’s political and policy goals.

The entity, whose legal structure has not yet been determined, will serve as the outside hub to support President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda.

Too bad Obama, the supposed community organizer, could not organize a group to support his agenda. ****ing idiot. He had zero PR skills.

Trump is the master.

The Right will win over the generation of new voters to come. And, that includes winning over the the future demographic of immigrant POC. I have no doubt the Right will sell them on their ideas long before the Left finds a way to convince the new Americans to vote for them. Already the Right is winning over students too. Just check out the popularity of Milo on Campus.

Wind blows east for a while then the wind blows west, this time will be no different. All they actually have to do is get a small number of those that did not bother to vote to show up next time and that is that. The Spotlight is on the Republicans and trump, if they do good they will stay a while, if they prove to be no better than the Dems the wind will change direction, that is politics.

There is a global trend away from liberalism and towards nationalism. Canadians are already fed up with their wonder boy PM.

People in general are seeing through the media. It's not so much playing the game. Even if Trump serves only one term (or not even a full term) that will not change a growing sentiment against leftist propaganda.

Let's see what Trump actually does once in office. People are judging him before he even gets his first day in charge.

That is one of the things that nobody on the left wants to talk about....... he came out of the 08 election with a massive vote win and with a well organized grass roots organization of enormous energy.....and he did nothing with it, then he let it rot away.

Probably needs to be on the list "Top ten reasons Obama failed as President".

This prick had decided he had made it, he wanted to hobnob with the elite.

With Celebs in particular.

Not the little people.

I agree. There seems to be a general shift away from multiculturalism. It's seen as a cancer.

One can't really argue against that either, because failure to assimilate is a huge problem, which anyone paying close attention can see very clearly.

I can assure you no matter what Trump does or what structure is put in place I will not fall in line with his beliefs.

Of course the premise of the thread is profoundly delusional. The left, as in progress, is not ceasing. The right are forever relegated to the role of throwbacks, dragging their feet and knuckles in response to change, fearfully fighting against the future on the grounds of preserving tradition. Conservatives have been carried by those less debilitated by fear for a long time. Only by coaxing and cajoling these weak-kneed simpletons has humanity been able to advance an inch at a time, as they lash out at imaginary demons in science, education and culture.

Donald Trump is a symptom of a greater sickness that begins in the trembling hearts of frightened, old, white Americans. They would rather have the future stolen by another white guy than shared by a multi-ethnic population. In their ignorance they attempt to maintain a worldview that is as obsolete and cruel as blackface and they're too dumb to know it.

As long as you put the label of racism on the movement that we are see all around the world, that is to say pin on the label of "garbage" and then ignore what the voters are telling you about why we are voting these guys in, then you will never understand what is going on. This is willful ignorance on your part.

BTW Trump did pretty damn well with young voters:
Exit poll estimates showed 54 percent of young voters supported the Democrat, with 46 percent supporting the eventual winner, Republican Donald Trump.

Conversely, millennials rallied behind President Barack Obama's re-election efforts with 60 percent support four years ago, when youth support was equally if not more critical.
Who Voted For Trump? Millennials Supported Clinton With 54 Percent Of The Youth Vote

The delusion runs very strong with you.

If the liberals brought Utopia, I'd agree with you. But have you seen Detroit, Baltimore, Philly or any minority community the Left had in its care for a few decades lately?

All the rest is hogwash.

There is a lot of red on the map, and I'm not only referring to the presidential election. That race was actually close, and Hillary did win a substantial number of more votes than Donald. But, if we look below the prresident, we see very little Blue. Repulsive Republicans control everything in almost every state now. It's kind of amazing, actually.

And as stated - the pendulum will swing back one day. Possibly in 2 years. Possibly in 4.

Jumpin jesus christ man.... the election is still just days over.

How about waiting for Trump & Co. to actually take office and do something for few months before make grandiose projections about where this country will be for years to come.

When the average little guy sees that nothing really changes, they'll ping-pong back to the "other side" just to see if anything changes.
It's the biggest weakness of a two-party system when both parties really aren't that far apart from each other.

It's not just this election. The D has been losing big since 2010. In fact, both Obama Midterms were a bloodbath. The op suggests that Trump is already putting piecess into place to prevent the flip you and the other guy up there think is so inevitable.

Propaganda is the Right's friend right now. Not only have all the Left leaning media outlets been severely damaged with this "fake news" label, but the Left doesn't even have a message. BLM was a complete failure, politically. Abortion isn't a rallying cry anymore. And, gay issues won't save the day either. If the R win over Latinos and siphon off more black men, the D is toast for at least another decade.

Not if the GOP continue winning the PR game.

One can only win that if they are doing good and control the press, we know the later is not true, and we have to wait and see on the first.

Actually, this nation has moved left from FDR through Carter, Reagan stopped a lot of that with a rightward movement. Then slowly this nation once again beginning moving left under Bill Clinton and has continued to do so.

Now the definition of moving left is viewed as more government interference, influence, control over an citizens business and life. Moving right to less influence, control or interference. Big government vs. small government. The central government, federal etc. doing more and more things that the states were doing or should be doing, more federal power.

Obama had everything going for him when he first entered office, a big advantage with huge majorities in the congress and for around 6 months a filibuster proof senate. But he blew that when he went against the people's will in passing the ACA and he and the Democrats paid dearly for that with a 63 seat loss in the House in 2010. Had Obama listen to the people, I am sure the Democrats would have easily maintained their majorities. I don't think Obama was a bad PR president, it was just some of his agenda was unpopular. He spent a lot of his time catering to a third of America, call it his base with his agenda forgetting the middle.

The Right has severely damaged the LW press. Fewer and fewer people pay attention to the NYT and Wa Post these days. All we need do is look at how the Carrier deal and the Japanese investment is playing out to see how far ahead in the PR game the GOP is and how clueless the D are at getting their message out.

The only thing that could stop the Right is an internal civil war between old school conservatives and Trumpies.

What pieces would that be? The media has been attacked for being left or right leaning for decades, new labels will not change anyone's opinion one way or the other now. The winds always change, because the circumstances always change, the thing many forget is that the vast majority of the masses do not like extremists, be they left or right, go too far and they will make their intentions known by changing the power structure in whatever way it takes.

Sorry but the reason many do not watch the media (tv) is because so many get their news from the web now, heck some people believe YouTube is a source of actual news, good grief. You are giving the masses more credit than they deserve, it is why half of them did not even bother to vote.

The masses buy propaganda, lap it up like sugar water. All you need to do is see what happened to Hillary in the final month before the election to know that this is a real issue.

No one in the Democratic party focused on flyover country. It's a core problem with the D.

A propaganda ministry.
