However, the larger context is that Obama has absolutely encouraged illegal immigration over his 8 years. He has not only encouraged it, he has protected it.
Do your own research if truth matters to you.

In the context of his overall actions, it becomes clear that not only would he say this......he did.

The assumption that Obama and the Democrats have not harmed this nation is both naive and misguided, but also evidenced in the fact that Americans came out against Democrats in November for exactly these reasons.

Yet another would be the current Democrat President attending funerals and speaking on behalf of black families of perpetrators who eventually were found to be guilty of crimes. Another would be the apparent lack of support for law enforcement by the current Democratic President. There are many more and I'm sure others will present some I've omitted.

We also recently learned that the interim DNC chairwoman provided Hillary Clinton with the debate questions to be asked in a Presidential debate BEFORE the debate. And Hillary Clinton accepted them.
It seems corruption and the willingness to break the law is of no concern to Democrats when political power is at stake. This means that their political power, and not policies that best serve and protect American lives, is most important to them.

What examples can the left present as evidence of the right's support of the decay of law and order and the rise of savagery?

In liberal universities around the nation, teaching that white America owes something to certain groups and by government institution of policies that make it easy for poor people to become dependent on government, the left has built generations of angry, irresponsible, dangerous misfits who are turning to savage behavior.

Hard to believe the statistics when a record number of law enforcement officers are dying and Chicago is officially a war zone.
I see more crime in the areas around me (urban area). I also see much more irresponsible driving and road anger than ever.
I tend to trust what I see locally over what the Feds report.

The left also reports gun crime rising sharply, then out of the other corner of their mouth says overall crime is down. Go figure.
