Trump & Romney

Lol you think that you'd be happy with your chosen dear leader.

Trump is great at marketing. That's how he got all of those idiots to believe that Hillary was going to jail and every other piece of nonsense that he's either going to backtrack on or already has.

Once again... he's not the court nor investigator.

He is being shrewd.

Congress, the FBI and DoJ are the deciders. :)

You don't make billions with marketing alone... marketing a bad product... only makes it fail faster.

It's going to great watching pro-American adults take over from the cast of Disney characters.

I'm not torn. Romney seems like a nice enough guy, but he screwed the pooch badly several times.

He's a loser in politics in several ways:

1. What he did to Trump during the election was disgusting at best.

2. When he made his 47% comment, which was 100% correct, he was too ball-less to go on and explain it to the public. He was 100% right, and 100% weak in the aftermath.

3. He failed to beat a tragically and fully failed opponent. There aren't many weaker opponents than Obama... in golfing terms it was a ball on the tee ready to be nuked... and he whiffed it.

4. RomneyKare. Used by Obama to push the abortion known as ObamaKare.

Romney had his time... screwing the pooch in big ways when it mattered. He's a nice guy but political disaster.

No need to hire a political loser. Losers are fine for Demokrats (Clinton and Kerry)... we don't need to elevate proven losers as a representative of Make America Great Again.

I agree Romney was pretty pathetic as a Presidential candidate. But the reason I am torn is that he does have a great track record for success in fixing screwed up situations, untangling messes, and getting things accomplished. I am sure that is what Trump sees in him too. I just am not as quick to forgive and don't as easily put a wrong done to me behind me as Trump is apparently able to do.

But Romney is not running for President now. Being first diplomat for the Administration is a role he is most likely much better suited to do.

I have liked most of Trump's proposed appointments so far but I do remain torn on this one.

Fascinating that these hard core far right people who have been spewing hate at Romney for 4 years because he was too 'moderate' have latched onto a NYC elitist billionaire who's even further to the left of Romney.

Eventually Trump will show his true colors and 'some' Cons will reject him and feel betrayed. But most will stick with him, they'll defend him, excuse him when he finally does shoot someone on 5th Avenue.

I want to laugh my ass off when his con job is exposed, but by then I fear he will have done so much damage to the country I don't think I will be able to laugh and say 'I told you so". But damn, there are a LOT of gullible people in this country. They fell for this con hook, line and sinker.

Firstly, you're assuming he's worth billions. The dear leader knew his followers didn't care about truth, facts or transparency so he never released his tax returns or anything else showing his worth.

Secondly, look at all the junky ****ty businesses that Trump has put his name on for a dime that went hilariously out of business. Trump University is a good example. And of course his marketing worked for Trump University getting thousands of suckers to come out so he could get his minions to swindle old/desperate people out of money that in many cases they had to borrow to get. I bet he made a lot of money off that ****ty fraud of a University except he had to payout 25million in a settlement for defrauding innocent people. But don't worry. I'm sure he meant everything he said during the campaign lmfao.

Third, of course he's not the investigator or the courts etc. Tell that to the idiots screaming lock her up while kissing Trumps ass. Probably very close to a majority of his voters really thought he was going to do what he said, like lemmings off the cliff, in regards to Hillary.

Enjoy it thoroughly while you can lol. That dip**** you elected has to start governing in a few weeks/months. No ones gonna hold his hand like a scared kindergartner at that point. Let's see what an egomaniac internet troll come to life can do with all branches of government on his side.

Considering how wild and vitriolic you are about Trump...and he's not even President yet...you should probably invest in some mood altering substances before the Inauguration. You are going to need them.

Wild and vitriolic? Didn't know you were so sensitive to harsh language on a debate forum. Would you like a trigger warning before I refer to him poorly in the future?

Why do so many Americans believe Trump-supporters are fascists?:2razz:

most americans couldn't tell you what fascism actually is. That is not surprising given more americans know who won the last American Idol or Survivor than who know who the two federal senators from their own state are. Most Americans are low wattage and/or low information voters who parrot what they hear from the MSM. Butt hurt sore losers on the left call Trump a fascist and other butt hurt hillary fans repeat it.

as I have said, watching the massive meltdowns of those who had planned on Hillary being their complainer in chief, before Trump is in office, suggests that the hysteria and meltdowns will only get worse

I relish watching them

It doesn't bother me. Hell, you saw by my other post that I think your antics are quite entertaining.

Re: Trump & Romney

TRUMP IS KING!

The guy is a dealmaker. Soon you will see Jeb Bush kissing his feet and Hillary Clinton giving Donald neck massages.

He knows how to turn enemies into allies, foes into friends. So far I love what I'm seeing compared to one of the most divisive Presidents in U.S history, Barack Obama.

1. He does not have to provide his tax returns. There is no law stating he must. Just as there is no law mandating Commi-Libs like Obama and Clinton need to release their Socialist writings.

2. He's managed to build big, high profile projects on time and on budget. Obama and Clinton have never done anything remotely close. Nothing.

3. When you enter business, not everything you swing at will be a Grand Slam Home Run. Some **** fails. But... that doesn't stop the Socialists of Amerika Partei (SAPs), people who have never done anything in business from coming up with MASSIVE, hairbrained government schemes THAT ARE NEVER ON-TIME, NEVER REMOTELY CLOSE TO BEING ON BUDGET, AND NEVER DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE.

In fact, their idiotic schemes grow and grow and grow while failing majestically.

If Trump fails, it's on his neck and those who have joined him in said enterprise. When the idiotic SAPs fail with their Centralized Government Programs... the entire nation pays a very heavy price. Right now... the SAPs idiocy has cost America 20 TRILLION of debt, and between 65 and 120 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities!!!...

...Yet, the idiotic SAPs just keep bulldozing forward with their mental retardation.

4. Lock Her Up was a heartfelt expression of people sick of watching serious criminality (especially by the Clintons) be met with no consequences.

Had anyone else done what she had done... we would be in Leavenworth, and rightly so!!!

ROTFLOL...

Obama, the man with no experience outside of:

Failed Community Organizing.

Reading a Teleprompteur.

Being "clean and articulate".

Winning races by clearing the field.

Palling around with Rezko, and terrorists.

Mentored by a racist.

What were his other accomplishments in life?

Oh yeah!!! Nothing of consequence.

And it shows.

Obama had NO record, and this partisan racist sold himself as a non-partisan uniter ROTFLOL...

He has a record now, and to quote him from 2008... we all now know... the presidency was way...

... above his pay grade.

Back in 2010 it was fully evident he lacked the skills to run the country.
That's over...
As is his legacy... ROTFLMFAO... live by the pen, die by the pen.

Re: Trump & Romney

These people who are surprised to see Trump cozy up to Romney and Obama must have forgotten that in spite of a lifetime of rejection all he ever wanted was to be accepted into the old boys club.

Well that, and make a lot of money...AKA WIN at business.

Even now he wants in.

So...you've seen me sitting here eating my popcorn and drinking my soda, so you are going redirect your rants away from Trump and toward me? Wild, man. :rofl

As I have said, with some exceptions, those on the left have become the most intolerant, hateful, angry, and militant people in our society even when they are in power. And it gets really REALLY bad when they are out of power. :)

That is beautifully illustrated in how they refer to Trump and Romney.

I suspect this entire phony audition for Romney is simply a very ugly effort by hard core right wing Trump loyalists to humiliate and embarrass Romney for opposing Trump over the last year. They want to dangle the job in front of him, watch him jump through the hoops, get him on TV shaking hands with Trump , and then upend a bucket of pig poop on his head and laugh in delight when he does not get the job.

exactly
the are punking romney very publicly
just as romney humiliated tRump quite publicly
dangling the secretay of state position as the bait to cause romney to publicly recant his criticisms about tRump
only to ignore him when the state position is offered to someone who has been loyal to the donald
that should keep mitt quiet for the next four years
sends a vivid message to those who might want to oppose him: don't **** with me or this could be you
