America has supported, put in power and help maintain oppressive regimes of the worst kinds throughout its history.

Castro was a bad dude, don't get me wrong but there's enough hypocrisy here to sink a battleship.

Just because you say Trump is putins best friend does not make it so. You saying this does make you look rather foolish. ( yea I know Trump and putin did say some positive thoughts about each other. I'm sure I could come up with a positive thought about you. That does not make us friends)

The mistake America has made is arming "rebel" groups that turn into extremist governments. Regardless though that doesn't excuse anyone praising or downplaying the crimes of Castro

Yup.

The USA has supported some horrible dictators in our past.

Picking on Fidel, acting like he was a horrible man and we are all righteous, is the height of hypocrisy.
