Why Trump isn't Hitler

First of all, I understand the similarities. Both were loud, both were fat, and both had bad hair.

But when you look at their ideas, there's no resemblance whatsoever.

Hitler believed for most of his life that the best thing that could be done for Germany and Austria was to exterminate the undesirables. He genuinely believed this. Those who shared his belief at the time likened it to how the French got rid of their aristocrats during their own revolution.

Trump is not interested in the "best thing" that could be done for America, nor does he give a flying rat's butt about what happens to the undesirables. Or to anyone else, or to the nation. Trump is interested in exactly two things: acquiring as much money as he can, and in showing off. That's it. Forget about saving the working class or making the country great. He never had any desire to, which is totally unlike Hitler's hopes to make Germany great.

Trump needs to be watched, and he needs to be impeached as soon as he does something stupid (which he will). But he does not have the motivation to set himself up as a dictator. It's too much work for him.

Trump is not like Hitler because Hitler was a vegetarian. Anyone who is a vegetarian is definitely like Hitler though.

It just goes to show that no matter how hard people try to compare Trump to Hitler, they will always fail.

But of he does set himself up as dictator, it will be great. Just great. The new Constitution will be a great deal.
