I found this video to be quite laughable. I really think that idiots like the one in the video (Steve Shives) are the reason why Hillary lost the election. What about all of the black people, latinos, and women that voted for Trump? Are they ignoant, insecure, easily led, and afraid too?

I don't know why some people are acting like Trump's victory was due to some "white-lash". Donald Trump got about the same amount of votes that Mitt Romney and John McCain got. So I find that claim to be nonsense.

But what are your thoughts?

Did anyone else happen to notice that both this election's candidates were white?

Isn't this one of those male feminists always hating on men? I can't say I'm surprised to see his self hatred also pertains to white people.

Did anyone else happen to notice the white supremacists lined up behind only one of the candidates?

GOP voters voted for the GOP candidates in pretty much the same numbers as the last two elections. Were those "white-lash" as well? I don't want to dissuade you though. The more you vilify and alienate anyone who voted in a way you disapprove of, the better for the Repubs.

Again. White supremacists are overwhelmingly on one side.

That's fact, not vilifying or alienating.

Right and violent ass looting "protestors" are overwhelmingly on one side as well. Is that what you've been up to? I mean, if we're going to do the guilt by association thing, I'm game. Don't be coy though, if you want to call the vast majority of Trump voters who voted for one white candidate over another white candidate white supremacists just do it. Loud and often. I encourage it.

Agreed, and well said. This is my first post! I'm a long time follower of the forums.

The creator of the video is a chosen person. He may not be criticized for any reason.

And black supremacists also overwhelmingly democrat, what's your point?

I would venture that there are quite a few more "white supremacists" in this country than "black supremacists," although I think the term "supremacist" is brutally overused.

I don't really think that the problem is so much who voted whom in the election as the fact that voters had chosen those two as candidates.

People forget all too quickly that the "white voters" elected our first black president, and most conservative whites were proud to see a first black president, even though if his politics went against their beliefs.

This white lash thingy is a joke!

Not sure where you get the info about 'violent ass looting 'protesters'.

You must have data I'm not in possession of.

And I never said the vast majority of Trump voters are white supremacists. Just that the vast majority of white supremacists are Trump voters. There's a significant difference.

What percentage of the vote do you think are white supremacists?

Don't know. But I do think that 100% of the white supremacist vote went to Trump.

Do you have any proof of that, or is this just a guess on your part?

The percentage of people of that persuasion is so statistically small, why are you even talking about it?

I'm sure any candidate would appreciate a 1000 votes or so, but I don't think they represented enough impact to have even registered in the data.

Sad. There are far too many fallacies in logic to go into here. Just sad that this guy has such a total lack of self awareness and is so far encapsulated in his bubble that he lacks any perspective.

I will say that I voted for Trump BECAUSE I want Black, Hispanics, LGBT, Muslims, etc. to do well in this country as we will all benefit when they succeed. And clearly the policies promoted by Democrats haven't helped them much. And I want the people of the world to live better lives. I guess that it all goes back to JFK's admonition to "ask not what your country can do for you but rather what you can do for the country". Clinton supporters seemed needy and whiny while Trump supporters did not.

It's a pretty good guess.

You seem a bit cheesed st the concept. Why are you so upset about it?

I am in agreement. The idiot in the video is picking out only extremists in the conservative ranks and attempting to project it to all conservative whites. The extreme left mouthed the same "angry white males" chant in 1994 after the democrats were pilloried in Clinton's first midterm congressional elections. The truth is that Trump won because he not only held onto the states won by Romney, he also won the tossup states that usually tend to go in the blue column. He won more black and latino votes then Romney did, and he even won vote of many of the labor union states. Perhaps Hillary is now willing that she had not gone along with Obama on attempting to wipe out the coal industry. And it turns out that not all African Americans were in lock step with the anti-cop feelings generated in the black lives matter movement, and not all latinos favor massive amnesty for illegal immigrants. Hillary lost for those reasons as well as her support for Obamacare, which was passed on strict party line votes with no cover from the opposition against the wishes of the majority of American voters. Hillary did not lose due to angry white Americans, she lost due to her own party over-reaching when they held both houses of congress and the white house.
