In split decision, federal judges rule Wisconsin's redistricting law an unconstitutional gerrymander | Politics and Elections | host.madison.com
A panel made up of three judges, two appointed by Republican Presidents and one by a Democrat have overturned the redistricting plan put in place by the Wisconsin GOP. I wonder if this case will have any effect on ther states whose redistricting plans have been put in place by the party in power to insure control. I think it would be better if states used computer plans that would take the politics out of redistricting. I am sure that they could be written to do so.
