I agree, it's not just a gay disease, but what group do you believe is most susceptible to it? Pence knows it's not just a gay disease as well, since his comments were regarding the Ryan White Care Act, and Ryan White got it from a transfusion. Here's the full quote from his web page several years ago that is used by some as proof that he believes in Sexual Conversion Therapy:

"• Congress should support the reauthorization of the Ryan White Care Act only after completion of an audit to ensure that federal dollars were no longer being given to organizations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the HIV virus. Resources should be directed toward those institutions which provide assistance to those seeking to change their sexual behavior."

The Ryan White Care Act focuses on many different areas of defeating HIV, which Pence is interested in since he's for the "reauthorization" of it. As far as focusing on the "behaviors" that facilitate the spread, what could be more helpful in defeating HIV than tackling that? Once again, he doesn't say "change their sexual orientation", he says "change their sexual behavior", which sounds like it has more to do with how someone has sex and how educated they are about who it's with.

If you want to know about the right choices concerning Planned Parenthood, you can visit their webpage and look under the "Learn" tab (not sure which you were referring to). Concerning right choices for gays in the avoidance of HIV, I'm assuming concerns would be 1) How to obtain HIV from new sexual partner, 2) What type of condoms are safest for anal sex, 3) How exactly HIV is obtained, etc...

Keep on denying the facts and thinking that this guy is oh so wonderful. If you were honest, you'd be standing up for what's right and repudiating this guy, but you're so stinking partisan that you'll apologize for him and ignore the facts. Acting like you don't get the whole St. PAtrick's Day reference just makes you look like a hack. Maybe if you and the rest of the left would stop apologizing for the people in your midst that are doing wrong, you would have won this last election. But instead you backed a candidate that had so much wrong going on that people just couldn't support her. You continue to defend those you should be repudiating and it's killing your progress.
