Mitt for Secretary of State

One thing I wonder about is whether on Saturday these two do some bonding over not drinking and not cussing (and never smoking too right?).

Both these guys live very clean lives.

That might mean something.
 
I'd prefer Mitt at HHS or Veteran's Affairs. The guy gets things done.

I support this (assuming it's true). It unifies the GOP. For all his faults, no one can deny Romney is genial and statesmanlike.

Let's not forget that in 2012, during the last debate on foreign policy with President Obama, Mr. Romney rightly noted that in his view Russia posed the most serious global threat to security and peace going forward and President Obama and many others laughed at his assertion. Mr. Romney has been proven, over the past 4 years, to have been correct in his assessment.

Romney is a smart, decent, respectful, and diligent man - he would be an excellent choice. I'm actually quite pleased that Trump, or his people, would think of it and that Romney, in respect for serving his country, would consider it his duty if called.

Edit:

I would also note that I'm not sure Romney as fully given up aspirations to the big job. Reestablishing a high profile in troubling times at the State Department and succeeding as well as the possibility that Trump may only care to be a one term President, could nicely set up Romney for a run at the nomination in 2020.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows. Remember...bot BO and MO were going around calling Hillary a liar during the rat primary in 2008 and MO made insinuations about Hillz not being able to handle her bizness in the boudoir. Yet...after the primary was over there was Secretary Clinton
