Lawmaker's 'Suck it Up, Buttercup' Bill Targets Students' Trump Hysteria

we interpret it as them being PUNISHED. the law is very flimsy

Then cite the general law that says the students are breaking the law. Simple thing here. For someone to interpret breaking the law they first must show the law they are breaking. Why can't you list the law the students are breaking?

incorrect. the 13th amendment is not for law breakers, its for forced labor. if they were breaking the law, we'd throw them in jail, obviously. this is just punishment for being a sissy.

And that is why you have lost. The state cannot punish people unless they have broken the law. You're dismissed sonny.

and you can believe your interpretation of that is right, if you choose. I cant stop your wild theories from forming.

It's you with the wild theories. Nothing will happen and that will make me smile. Keep on truckin

So let me get this straight, to get people to relax and stop protesting you push a bill called Suck It Up Buttercup. Seems like someone never taught some people to poke the bear, especially when it is already in a dark mood. Good grief some people Never Learn. Oh and how Statesman Like on their part, a sign of the times. People are not going to like where we are headed, I am not sure there will be any winners.

Keep dreaming you're going to be sorely disappointed especially when trump doesn't get that wall built and keeps parts of Obamacare

who cares if he keeps parts of hussien care?

Yeah we shouldn't have any type of grief counseling, who cares if a shooting happens or a student gets raped, **** em right? and if not getting rid of it all, then again, why is it the states job to determine what the school provides?

typical strawman from the liberal left. why is it that 0 liberal I know can actually address what is said.
instead they pull something out of fantasy land and argue something that was never even said at all?

now I will give you one more chance to actually address what was said instead of something that wasn't.

if you can't then you will concede that they in fact do not need grief counseling because there is nothing to be that upset over.

Typical conservative that wants to control all aspects of what they don't like but then whines when they don't get what they want. I've conceded nothing and your claiming I did would be nothing but a lie. But then I wouldn't be suprisd since many cons lie.

thank you for conceding.
your failure to actually address what was said proves enough.

they do not need grief counseling over an election. the school should not be wasting resources and they should be used for actual people that need grief counseling.

there is no lie. you didn't address anything I said and in turn pulled something out of fantasy land that I never argued.
I gave you a chance to go back and actually address what was said, but you failed to do that as well.

As usual a con that posts lies I've answered your questions if you would have read but most cons don't read they just post lies instead. Thank you for demonstrating your dishonesty since I've conceded nothing.

Why would someone need grief counseling because Trump won the Presidency?

I'm not worried about the "buttercups as much as I am with some of the Alt-Left on DP.

I am at the point of asking the Moderators about possibly opening up a temporary sub forum called the...................... "safe room":2bigcry:

insult after insult. it's what losers do when they concede in a debate. you proved me right, just like the 13th amendment. they'll be building our wall whether they want to or not- AS PUNISHMENT, not as forced labor.

You unyielding imbecile, that would be forced labor as punishment. But never mind that little detail, let's look at the actual wording of the amendment you're claiming is free for interpretation. Specifically, the part that allows forced servitude in certain cases.

except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted

If you believe that people can be forced to build the wall for something they've said, then you must, by default, believe one of two things, either:
  • A: certain opinions can be punished arbitrarily by the American court system, or:
  • B: that you do not need to arrest and try someone in order to convict them of a crime.

If you believe the first, then you have no right whatsoever to call yourself a libertarian - punishing thought crimes is the most vile of authoritarian activities. If you believe the second, then you are merely grossly informed, and lack an understanding of the most basic concept of our legal system. I'm certain you are going to cry about me insulting you despite the fact that you have repeatedly called people sissies, but I assure you I could not care less about your complaints. If you can cite anything to back up your insane interpretation of the 13th Amendment, I may actually continue this farce of a debate. Otherwise, I believe I'm done with you here.

That would be funny.

"Any student that is upset that Trump won, we will supply with some Trump Balls to squeeze."

Ok they wouldn't just be trump balls, they'd be fantastic. I mean they'd be huge and really great. Absolutely nothing wrong with those squeezey balls lol!

AL righty then looks like this thread has run its course..............

yes, i believe you have the right to interpret the law as you see fit. that doesnt prove your wild theories true.

MY wild theories? Your theory is isn't the one supported by 150 years of precedent and application. I guarantee you there isn't a single soul that has sat on the SC since the end of the Civil War who thinks you can force someone to labor for you without a conviction, and there hasn't been a single one who thought the government could sentence someone without a conviction since this nation was founded.

the fact is, your theories dont add up. they dont make sense with today's laws.

if whiney sissy liberals need therapy because trump won, they are absolutely eligible to be punished and build our wall. its how a FREE society works

Cite a single law that allows the government to press people into service without convicting them of a crime. Then explain how forced labor for sensitivity is how a FREE society works.
