Then cite the general law that says the students are breaking the law. Simple thing here. For someone to interpret breaking the law they first must show the law they are breaking. Why can't you list the law the students are breaking?

incorrect. the 13th amendment is not for law breakers, its for forced labor. if they were breaking the law, we'd throw them in jail, obviously. this is just punishment for being a sissy.

Typical conservative that wants to control all aspects of what they don't like but then whines when they don't get what they want. I've conceded nothing and your claiming I did would be nothing but a lie. But then I wouldn't be suprisd since many cons lie.

your failure to actually address what was said proves enough.

they do not need grief counseling over an election. the school should not be wasting resources and they should be used for actual people that need grief counseling.

there is no lie. you didn't address anything I said and in turn pulled something out of fantasy land that I never argued.
I gave you a chance to go back and actually address what was said, but you failed to do that as well.

You unyielding imbecile, that would be forced labor as punishment. But never mind that little detail, let's look at the actual wording of the amendment you're claiming is free for interpretation. Specifically, the part that allows forced servitude in certain cases.

If you believe that people can be forced to build the wall for something they've said, then you must, by default, believe one of two things, either:
  • A: certain opinions can be punished arbitrarily by the American court system, or:
  • B: that you do not need to arrest and try someone in order to convict them of a crime.

If you believe the first, then you have no right whatsoever to call yourself a libertarian - punishing thought crimes is the most vile of authoritarian activities. If you believe the second, then you are merely grossly informed, and lack an understanding of the most basic concept of our legal system. I'm certain you are going to cry about me insulting you despite the fact that you have repeatedly called people sissies, but I assure you I could not care less about your complaints. If you can cite anything to back up your insane interpretation of the 13th Amendment, I may actually continue this farce of a debate. Otherwise, I believe I'm done with you here.

MY wild theories? Your theory is isn't the one supported by 150 years of precedent and application. I guarantee you there isn't a single soul that has sat on the SC since the end of the Civil War who thinks you can force someone to labor for you without a conviction, and there hasn't been a single one who thought the government could sentence someone without a conviction since this nation was founded.

the fact is, your theories dont add up. they dont make sense with today's laws.

Cite a single law that allows the government to press people into service without convicting them of a crime. Then explain how forced labor for sensitivity is how a FREE society works.
