RAND PAUL: John Bolton is 'totally unfit' for secretary of state

to keep things in perspective, outside of Los Angeles County and New York City, she got absolutely crushed by voters. and the Electoral College.

The more important number is who stayed home and didn't vote for her as well as the Democrats that had voted for Obama but this time went for Trump.

It doesn't.

I knew you were going to try that silliness, so the first link has a quote from ADL.

“We’ve seen a great deal of really troubling stuff in the last week, a spike in harassment, a spike in vandalism, physical assaults. Something is happening that was not happening before,” Jonathan Greenblatt, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League.."

This has even been in the news in Maine.

Try harder, it might be amusing.

Yes troubling stuff like chanting build a wall or graffiti that says no more illegal immigration. Oh no. The horror.

All of that foolishness pales in comparison to what the side that lost the election is doing for all the world to see.

I see, Jews getting attacked is not a problem.

"So even as the total incidents have remained statistically steady from year to year, the trend toward anti-Semitic violence is very concerning.”
ADL Audit: Anti-Semitic Assaults Rise Dramatically Across the Country in 2015

Racists always escalate.

Btw, the news in Maine was a guy that tried to run over a Somali.

Way to make crap up. Nothing in the post you quoted mentioned race or gender.

I am not making anything up.

You don't like blacks or latinos. You said in your post "Losing to irrational, slow, uneducated voters is much less humiliating than losing to rational, educated, thoughtful voters"

Blacks and latinos voted for Trump as well as women.

How can you call these groups irrational, slow and uneducated?

Racist and mysoginist.

You lie. I dare you to show me even one post of mine that clearly makes such a statement.

The words in quotes were your words.

You cannot deny what you posted.

RAND PAUL: John Bolton is 'totally unfit' for secretary of state, and Rudy Giuliani is 'very similar'

Why? Because they're cheerleaders for the war in Iraq and for regime change in the Middle East, according to Rand, which makes them on the opposite side of some important issues as compared to Trump's stated positions during the campaign.

Would Donald Trump really select people who oppose his views? What do you think?

God forbid we should put someone into this position with a wealth of successful experience in international politics. Maybe he should appoint David Perdue or Jim Gilmore to the job... (lets see who gets the joke)

So you can't back up your wild accusations about me disliking blacks and latinos. I wonder why.....

You attacked them in your post.

You can live in denial if you want but we can all see what you posted.

I hope no administration starts another war. Trump is pretty anti war so far as I can tell, and he is committed not to make things worse than they already are. Whether he and his advisors will agree on the right decision in the necessity to intervene or not intervene, who knows? No other administration has ever gotten that 100% right so I hope people will be as forgiving of the inevitable mistakes a Trump administration will make as they were with all previous administrations.

In a sense the U.S. has been at war with Islamic jihadists for the past twenty years and more. It should not strike them in foolish, ineffective ways, but it should continue to strike them. And it should do that, without letup, in any nation in the world where they are sheltering. We did not want war with them, but there is no living with people who believe it is their religious duty to kill Americans and who have proven they are willing to do just that whenever they can.

I am as sure that Mr. Bolton understands those grim facts as I am that Mr. Paul does not.

I don't know. Certainly we need intelligence capable of intercepting intent to harm us and I have no problem striking the first blow before the terrorists can act. But I cant reconcile or justify making trouble with those who have not caused trouble for us and who haven't signaled intent to make trouble for us no matter how much we believe they are evil or wrong. And when somebody is doing unspeakable harm to others, I think we need to deal with that on a case by case basis..

That makes no sense, it's a smokescreen for their agenda.

So I take it you haven't noticed all the things they say that are wrong? According to them, Iran should have had nukes over a decade ago. Iraq had WMD.

But the best part of their idiocy is that they pushed the CIA to give 'freedom fighters' in Afghanistan training to be better terrorists. They didn't want to do it, because they thought there would be blowback, which happened on 9/11.

They don't fix problems, they create them.

I suspect that Trump will seek a way to gracefully extract America from the Middle Eastern Conflict, just after the approx. 6-8 week attack which leaves ISIS in burning ruins.

I don't think Foreign Nation Buiding means much to Trump, his focus will be on Re-Building America.

Smokescreen it is!

Fewer people die from terrorism in the US than are killed by lightning strikes, yet the government has formed an entire new bureaucracy to "deal with it". Something like 15,000 people are killed in automobile accidents a year, while just several dozen die from terrorism related attacks.

The Global War On Terror is a fraud of epic proportions.

Trump's own views are pretty malleable, so I suppose he'd expect the same from the people he hires. Let's hope he and his minions don't start yet another war.

It would be nice to really bring the troops home instead of just moving them to a new battle. A few years of not being at war would be a welcome change for the 21st century. We spent the majority of the 20th century at war a change is in order.

Keeping the people dependent on government is a great strategy to maintain control and rule them. Sheep will be sheep and is this fear that allows one dog to control them.

Yes, the herd mentality is prevalent in the species.

That's the way I'm reading him. I certainly hope that is the case.
