Hints

Well, we may know why they cancelled, there has been another shakeup in the transition team.

3 Stooges try to run the country...

Maggie we're going to see 4 (8?) years of the left telling us what Trump is thinking and doing in spite of what he really says and does. Get used to it, because this is going to be the only tactic they'll be able lean on. If Trump appoints 4 women, 7 blacks and 2 homosexuals to cabinet positions, you'll hear that he's just pandering to "minorities". If he signs a bill that's favorable to Wall Street, you'll hear that he did it to pay off his buddies there. If he signs a middle-class tax relief bill, he'll be doing it just to buy votes. If he hugs his daughter in public, you'll hear accusations of incest. This is what the next 4-8 years are going to consist of... :(

While that may be true, it will be very easy to tune them out because we know all of that will come form the mind of a child and not to be taken seriously.

This isn't the way it's supposed to happen.

The transition team is supposed to be putting in 80 hour weeks, not acting like Kardashians.

The transition period is brutally hard, if you do the job.

When they were showing the Trump transition team around the West wing, Kushner asked how many of the staff were staying, and was surprised when told none were staying on.

Which is kinda the point. There was an actual meeting scheduled, for the next day, to get started on coordinating the change.

You actually thought Trump (or anyone) was going to keep everyone? What's next? Your breaking news that water is actually wet?

Not really, but it will be obvious to all soon enough.

Kinda like how it was obvious that he can't possibly win the election, right?

Maybe you should just lay low for a bit, get your bearings....you know?

Define insanity.

May I remind you all the people who calling doomsday over trump stepping into office are the same people who said hillary would sweep the electoral college, defeat the brexit, return the deomocrats to control of the senate, and in england defeat the torries? Absolutely horrible track record, so why would anyone care about doomsday prophecies about trump now?

Transition is a big deal. Chris Christie was the guy that signed the papers starting that process. After he was fired, transition had to stopped in accordance with the law. No new papers have been drafted and signed, and it's been a few days.

They will eventually, but to say these clowns are not ready is the understatement of the century.

I knew it was going to be bad, but this is quicker and worse than even I expected.

How is this bad? he fired christie because he became a loose cannon especially with bridgegate, and the last thing the anti establishment candidate needs before he entered office is a corrupt politician who abused his powers running his team.

Sorry you expected corruption to stand, which you still would have made threads about, but trump is a populist and a narcissist, and he is going to do everything to ensure his image stays the best it can, over all else.

Because the transition is one of the hardest things a president has to do. It's brutal on many levels. You have to hire a few thousand people. Running the government is insanely complicated. You need to get the basics down before they hand the car keys to you. Without that basic knowledge, you're going places you really don't want to go.

You are freaking out too much, those keys were handed to a peanut farmer and an actor in the past, what you are demanding is he simply streamline the process by objecting to no one, which in turn would give you more to gripe about, he has a month and a half ish to sort this out, his innauguration is not tomorrow.

The actor did the transition. Well, he took a nap, but his staff did it.

You can't streamline the process, you have to do the work and they quite simply are not doing the work. Most candidates would have had people working on this for a month or two by now.
