Comedian Wanda Sykes found out the hard way, what happens when you say,

“This is not the first time we've elected a racist, sexist, homophobic President.”​

The crowd immediately erupted and literally booed her off stage. In keeping with so many of the other Trump bashers on the left, she handled the situation with grace and class... LMAO





After that angry, vulgar display, I think that "has-been" is going to have a hard time finding new venues.


BTW, this happened in of all places, Boston... one of the bluest of blue states.

If someone understands where I dont please point out what part of this helps to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Boston is a major city in lib la la land

The home of harvard and senator pokohantas

you would think her crowd would be very liberal just like she is

With as stupid and nonempathic as they have been maybe the adults in the room need to go this low to finally beat a little sense and common decency into them....I'll grant you that, but this is very sad to see for this free speech guy.

I tend to see it as the people in the audience exercising their free speech rights

Also, this was not college students protesting and actually shutting down a campus speaker that they didnt like

The audience paid money to be entertained by this woman and they have a right to complain if they dont like her performance

Anyone who needs speech and ideas restricted should stay far away from comedy venues.

Those types are pollution to comedy.

You buy a ticket that says "comedy" and then "comedy" rules apply.

There is no refusing to let the comedian perform in comedy.
 
I'm thinking that this lady could go on tour with Sharpton.

I'm curious Grim. If the roles were reversed, and a pro-Trump comedian had been saying attacking things about Hillary... and had been booed off stage, would you have the same position? I have often read posts of your against this sort of thing... anything shutting down free speech.

When they get ignorant political commentary instead even Boston liberals will not put up with it as Sykes found out.
 
A comics job is to make people laugh and forget about their daily troubles.... not slap the audience in the face with the comic's bigotry and problems. It's why Wanda's a has-been and should apply as a Walmart greeter. At least there, people who voluntarily go there won't have to pay to see her.

Looks like a bunch of folks are unable to grasp the role comedy plays in our society. Stick to your day job (or your social security check, or whatever), and let the professionals manage the comedy.

Anyone who paid to attend a Wanda Sykes show, and then complained about the material being slanted clearly went in blind... due to their egregious ignorance.

Make a more informed consumer choice next time, and then you won't have to disrupt a show that her actual fans were excited to see. No one paid to see a bunch of immature and naive grown children ruin the show with their nonsense.

Get over yourself. I don't go to a Larry the Cable Guy show and scream at his faux populism.

I admit it - I stopped paying attention to her after "Wanda at Large" turned my stomach the few times I watched it. It's 2016, she's a has been and now can only stay in the public light by flipping off her audience and screaming "**** you" at them. Perhaps you see that as funny so I urge you to pay the $80 or whatever and go see her.

I guess it's only "OK" to protest a paid entertainment event now.
Everyone who disrupted that show with their petulant tantrums needs to learn some proper etiquette.

Do you turn over the table and scream whenever you don't like the food a server brings you at a restaurant?

They are not peaceful protests

There is violence, burning and looting

Policemen are being assaulted, buildings broken into, looted and set on fire

Protesters are smashing the windows of cars with baseball bats.
