That's the ticket that would have won the Dems the white house, imo. I could see numerous working class whites who didn't vote for Clinton voting for Biden/Webb, and I think they could also have done real well with minority voters.

If aliens had landed and given me and no one else the plans for their hyper-space drive I would be an very important person right now.

But sadly they did not.

EDIT: The plan for two almost three years was it was Hillaries turn, that the D's were going to put the first woman in the WH and nobody but nobody was going to be allowed to Obama her.

Biden/Webb does not fit into that anywhere.

EDIT2: it is now pretty clear that Obama signed off on that disastrous UNAmerican act from the DC ELITE D Division, which is one of the dozens of reasons he is going to end up dog food in history.

How exactly could Biden and Webb done real well with minorities. It's pretty clear they aren't willing to vote for old white people.

Biden is more likable than Clinton.

Plenty of minorities voted for Clinton, but some didn't. Didn't have to do with her skin color for many, IMO. Regardless, even if the minorities didn't vote for them like Obama, I think it could have been made up with white support from Rust belt states.

Clinton didn't lose because working class whites switched this election. Reagan flipped them in 1980 and they haven't really ever gone back to the democrats. Minorities just really didn't show up to vote mostly in michigan and Pennsylvania. Bush won Iowa and Ohio also and came close to Wisconsin. Without a massive minority turnout that someone like Obama can bring, those are our (GOP) states.

I know why Clinton lost, but I'm pointing out that I believe a Biden/Webb ticket could have made up for the lack of minority support with working class white voters.

Uh...no.

Trump was attacked mercilessly for talking about inappropriate behavior towards women. Video exists of Biden practically fondling children. I was beyond creeped out when I saw that.

Too many skeletons in Uncle Joe's closet.

How? Working class whites are not a normal democrat coalition what about biden/Webb would motivate them that Hillary, Obama, Kerry and Gore didnt
 
Almost anyone might have defeated Trump, but for some stupid reason, the D's were fixated on Hillary and refused to change their tactics, even when those tactics failed them in two previous elections.

Hell, the D's even rejected Hillary over Obama.

It was simply Hillary's turn. Nothing to do with merit or a solid vision for the country. Hillary took a backseat to race in 2008 when Obama got the nod, the Duhmocrats figured they could play on guilt involving gender this time around.

Biden himself even told the Dems to try and make more attempts at getting working class whites to support them. So did Bill Clinton for that matter.

Both parties ended up with really bad candidates. Hopefully this never happens again.

Hillary got her ass kicked by Obama, the nobody, which would normally mean that she would not be coronated if that unamerican act was to be conducted, but she had the "right" body parts so off they ran after the prize.

It really is that simple, this was all about the brass ring of having history write that it was the D's who done it, who finally put a woman in the White House

This party is now exactly that frivolous.

Joe Biden is not Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton was from Arkansas, Clinton reformed welfare and signed DOMA. Biden hasn't ever supported stuff like that and being a northeastern elite has absolutely zero credibility with the white blue collar workers of the midwest. Heck even Clinton has had to disavow all of his policy achievements so that he can still be a part of the democrat party

Absolutely man. The DNC may learn to respect their voters next time instead of thinking that they aren't smart enough to recognize a corrupt villain when they see one. Good on the Dem voters who boycotted Hillary and everything she stands for.

I dont see much sign of that yet, and hey, according to Clinton Corp they did not have anything to do with this loss, because nothing is ever their fault.

The D sheep have a long history of slurping that sort of nonsense right up.

The democrat party elders are almost as out of touch with the voters as the repubs in washington were

But thanks to several generations of progressive/liberal brainwashing in the lpublic schools the next dem candidate will lean pretty heavily toward wipe-every-nose socialism

so tickets like biden-web cannot happen
