How Trump bypassed hostile media to deliver his message

With the mainstream media almost uniformly hostile toward him, Donald Trump rallied supporters during the presidential campaign by delivering his message on Twitter and a loose network of alternative news sites.

The President-elect's ability to circumvent the main news channels to reach and energize his audience became a key factor in his victory, analysts say.

He didn't bypass them, he used the hell out of them, and they played right into it. Many of those that elected Trump didn't trust the established ruling class, which includes the "liberal" media. So... when the media attacked Trump, it only helped him with many that supported him. Especially when even those at Fox and other normally GOP supporting media outlets or personalities attacked Trump as well - it all went to prove Trump's bona-fides as the outsider that will "drain the swamp."

He used the media like a master, and they didn't have a freaking clue. Like the guy or not, whether you voted for him or not, to be able to witness such a masterful political campaign, which most (including me) didn't fully realize the scope and scale of the pure management skill that Trump demonstrated, when it all came to fruition was the most glorious thing to behold from an intellectual level.

The media is in denial. The only way they can deflect from people realizing the media's totally inept, involuntary, and unconscious participation in advancing Donald Trump as what he needed to be defined as, to win the election, is to continue their denial.

It's hilarious to watch.

Yes, I predicted that was exactly what he was doing back in July, again in August and still again in September. Very astute of you to realize this. There are some smart people on here.........on the Right. :lol:

Public media and politicians along with other public figures have been vitriolic towards the USA and Trump's election. The EU people are trying to uses hostility, anger and fears they are generating in the populations to ram through further reaching union and are demanding an EU military in parallel to NATO as the USA can no longer be trusted. Chancellor Merkel is willing to work with Trump, if the US continues to adhere to human rights and Western values. Schultz, the head of the EU Parmiament calls for Europe to join forces in the face of Trump. It goes on and on and the populations are quiteagitated.
