Lou Dobbs: America is lucky to have Trump as the future president

I ended up watching the Ron Paul clip after getting bored with Lou Dobbs. :2razz:

This is Prob a good time to recall that the nation elected Obama the first timewith hopes and dreams on par with the Trump juggernaut, and on an even more massive landslide......and look at how that turned out.

I supported Obama but by May it was clear that he was not the one.

May the Trump gambit prove more rewarding.

If not then we will get someone else.

We will not be denied.

We The People.

We are neither lucky or fortunate (or whatever other term wanted) for Trump winning.

The consequences of just 4 years of Trump in the White House, and regardless of the disposition of Congress, suggest a period of complexity in terms of social unrest, economic unrest, and perhaps even an escalation of soldiers coming home in boxes from whatever whim he goes with on a given day.

We might even be able to expand that notion of a good third of the planet hating this nation to almost half.

Any blue state is welcome to offer free college, a $20/hour MW, UHC and to tax the rich at 70% to pay for it. ;)

Any one issue (right or left) is not the point, and States can do things on their own anyway (within reason.)

Yep, but they must fund them on their own too.

Not always, there is plenty of State initiatives that end up with Federal funding.

Which is part of the problem, not part of the solution. We have reached a point where something deemed "important" makes it become a new federal power (responsibility?).

I highly doubt this election really addresses that, but I could be wrong. We'll see what the next budget from the 115th Congress passing Trump's desk really has in it.

But the carrot and stick approach to getting States into doing something the Federal level wants is nothing new.

I have no doubt that bribing the states works. He who pays the tab calls the shots or the customer is always right. That is what was wrong (unconstitutional?) with PPACA, drive 55 nonsense and the department of education.

I agree with Lou Dobbs. There's only one direction to go after 8 years of leftist ideology, and that's up. The left doesn't want unity, they want more pain and suffering, or they wouldn't be tearing things up. Violence and destruction of property isn't a winning solution, it's the problem. The left had 8 years to do something worth a damn, they failed, it's time they put on big boy pants and join decent normal Americans.

Highlighted, I regard as nonsense! We need to take action around the world at any given time to contain radicalism and terrorism. That's the way it's been for decades and the way it needs to be.

Yes, we certainly have a huge divide in this country and the Democrats, specifically the divisive obama, have done nothing to make it any better.....Nothing!

Finally..........................the decent people in this country put a stop to it by booting that Crooked, Lying, scumbag, Hillary. All those that voted for her, IMO, are nuts!

Transition of power went fine from Clinton to Bush. Then the bottom fell out of the bubble.
I wonder how Trump will deal with the present one.

What bubble is that?

Absolutely! Fully agree. Excellent post!

You know, the media has been full of PSAs for years, telling us how we should live, precautions we should take.....etc.

It's time that they step up to the plate and denounce these protesters and show support for the President.

The NY Times today, did just the opposite....in my view, they are part of the problem.

Right...as they gloss over all the lies from Bill and Hillary over 3 decades! What a crock!

See, leftists aren't interested in working together.

Damn right they aren't. I learned that about 30 years ago.

When they are in power, they ram their crappy, lunatic ideas through.. and **** everyone else!
When the Republicans are in power, the Left talks about coming together, but they really don't want to.
