Abolish the Electoral College

The electoral college makes no sense and must go!
The Electoral College makes perfect sense, especially as opposition to a direct election.

What needs to go is those trying to change a fundamental element of how this Nation runs.

I can't remember what it was called, but there was some alternative EC vote-counting system I heard about. Essentially, every district gets it's own separate vote in the EC, and whichever candidate gets the most votes from a given state gets the two Senate votes. I'm not sure whether or not it would have given Hillary the win, but it would certainly have changed the end count.

Of course, if there were more blue states then it would not be an issue in the first place. ;)

That system would be even worse for the dems, Romney would have won 2012 under that system

We can change the system

How about one state= one vote

Popular vote is NOT the answer though....

The urban areas outnumber the rural areas in population....

So we discount those in the flyover states....those that feed us?

I don't think so.....I don't want just big city votes deciding what is best for the country....even though I usually live in or around major metro areas

I have relatives in Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa....

What? They know longer count?

I don't trust the voting population. They never know what's good for themselves; they go about blaming others or thinking there will be a messiah to save them.
