'Course not. Wall? That was just for say-so, campaigning, ya know? For getting all those Trumpsters clapping and stomping and firing each other up. He doesn't need that lot now, not for 3 1/2 years anyway.

Besides, a lot of his compadres need all that cheap labour.

I doubt (and hope) not a real wall, but a virtual wall. Step up enforcement and other anti-illegal immigrant actions.

President Trump, nor anyone else, said anything about totally stopping people from coming into The United States, legally, to work.

If they were legal they'd be more expensive. All those illegal immigrants, they're lured by people who make lotsa bucks off their cheap labour.

A good start would be enforcing the laws against employing illegal aliens. Nip it in the bud, get to the source of the problem.

Oh right, I forgot. Illegal aliens get minimum wage, just like legal immigrants. Benefits, too, and pensions. Workers compensation coverage. Unemployment insurance. Illegal aliens get all that stuff.

Illegal immigrants with stolen identities (most of them) don't get minimum wage and if they do, it blows your argument out of the water.

What I am concerned with is his idea of putting in jail people that illegally cross over a second time. We already have an overcrowding problem in prisons that put guards at risk. Now if he lets up on the drug war allowing marijuana federally legal? That may free up some spots to allow him to safely do that.

Obviously that's untrue.
I have no idea what most illegals do about taxes, and nor do you. For all you know, most illegals work under-the-table. When I worked illegally in the US, I just made up a number and claimed 7 dependents. The union didn't care, the company didn't care, they just wanted qualified journeymen and couldn't man the job.
 
He will build the wall the day he releases his taxes.
