Californians are calling for a 'Calexit' from the US

Do you use this kind of language when Texas tries to seceded every 6 months?

When did Texas seceded? Since 1861, that is. When was it on the ballot? How did you feel about her seceded?

With Mr. Trump's victory, the treasonists are coming out of the woodwork. This proves how much the Leftists hate America. Should the people involved in this secessionist movement be arrested?

Good. Let California exit. Along with anyone else who thinks it's better somewhere else.

With the proviso that there will be no foreign aid when you can no longer buy food for your people, we ain't helpin'.

**** that.

My response is the same as I say every time a secession thread comes up--- **** no.

There have been similar movements to seceded from Texas for years. How do you feel about that?

I support California secession. I don't think this group has any money and if I were going to bid on the signature gathering effort, would estimate that total costs would run in the range of $3-4 million in the current climate. Gonna email them in any case to see if they are serious, so thanks for the link.

How did you feel about it? Should someone have gone to jail? What about anti-government militias? You support those folks?

They're not the ones creating threads about it and calling people traitors.

I think it's pretty stupid (both California and Texas doing it) but it's in their rights to voice their opinions without government restrictions.

Go to jail, no. Be ridiculed. Yes. Just like in Texas.

They're pushing for it in 18.

And Texans have "pushed for it" too.

But nobody gives a **** because it's a dumb idea.

I bet they were when someone they don't like was doing it. Remember the national park standoff? The Bundy ranch standoff? Yeah, Libbos were going nuts and demanding action.

Were they within their rights to secede?

Unless they have money, it wont go anywhere. Even Tim Draper, with his unlimited money, failed to qualify his Six Californias initiative for the ballot.

Right now this isn't about them because that's conjecture. This is about you because we all have proof you're doing it right now and seem to be letting off those who did it before that you liked.

Um, no...the thread isn't about me. Sorry.

This is different than Texas.. People like Texas, Texas is good for the USA, even the liberals think we should keep Texas..

Now California.. Ugh.. A lot of people wouldn't mind seeing that cesspool go.. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out..

As a native Californian, I am saddened by what the leftists have done to it. I love my state but the left have turned it into a socialist welfare state with sky high taxes and regulations out the wahzoo. For that reason, my family and I are preparing to flee the state as soon as my youngest has graduated HS. We are looking for a new home now.

Having said that, I don't give two spits what Kalifornia does. Maybe we could get all the other leftists to move here and then they can have a nice big state with ocean access, good weather, nice ports, outstanding freeway system, so they can construct their socialist utopia.

I'm all for Kalifornia leaving. Good luck to them.

hahahaha. I would love to see California leave if only to raise the IQ of the rest of the U.S. Furthermore Californians are being so idiotically short sighted as always. California's guaranteed 50+ electoral votes .(or however many it is, but it's huge)guaranteed to be blue means that if they do leave, the the U.S. is pretty much going to turn red on a semi-permanent basis
