Thank god congress ignored the constitution and refused to allow Obama to appoint a supreme court justice. Now the constitution can be upheld. Isn't it great that we can choose when to follow it and when to ignore it?

Any judge who thinks that the second amendment "allows" DC or a state to completely ban or severely limit honest people from owning handguns or semi auto rifles should not be on ANY COURT

I guess I missed that part of the constitution. Maybe "any judge that regulates the sale of guns shall be purged" is an amendment? But you know a lot about the constitution so I'm sure you know better than I do when we're supposed to follow it and when not to. Like right now. By refusing to allow Obama to appoint a judge.

Congrats to the Trump crowd, I was wrong in my prediction, and Donald Trump was elected.

So, you got what you wanted, now it will be time to put up or shut, we shall see if he even fulfills even half of the stuff he promised.

The Nation was going to be in a bad place no matter who won, with Hillary we knew what we were going to get, with Donald anything is possible and my guess is it will be as bad if not worse than had she been elected.

Say a prayer for the Nation, it is going to need all it can get.

I stopped watching the tv news because it was filled with predictions of a hillary win.

But still the liberal and republican establishment lies that trump was a sure loser were everywhere and it was difficult not to be influenced by them.

So I voted for trump even though it didnt look like could win the election.

I think a lot of leftists have been disconnected and will continue to be. They were lied to by their own propaganda machine, their pollsters, their leaders, and was repeatedly warned not to be deceived but they chose to believe DJT didn't stand a chance and would be easily defeated by Globalist Granny and other crooked politicians. BOY, were they handed a blistering defeat. LMAO And as a bonus, the decent folks of this nation retained the House and Senate.

I was up late and watched the reports to the end and was LMAO when Globalist Granny failed to do the right thing and admit defeat, which actually didn't surprise me as I expected her to go to bed early. She was probably bending the elbow and was too hammered.

Blistering defeat is right.

This was a political earthquake that is off the Richter Scale.

We have never seen anything like it in our history and NO ONE - myself included - knows what will happen next.

All we can say is that the unique American experiment in self rule is not dead

Trump represents the triump of the common man over the elites and words cannot express how good that makes me feel.

I'm right there with you, brother!! This is the biggest shake up that I am aware of. And like you, I am very happy to see the defeat of corruption and those that championed it.

Thank you. If you supported Hillary you have my condolences. Unfortunately someone has to win and someone has to lose in these things.

I know in my area of PA most people I talked to were fed up with the taxes from oil and gas going to teachers in the cities while our roads and land were destroyed by the oil and gas companies. That tax money should have went first to repairing the damage done by the extraction of the oil and gas. We are tired of our hard earned tax dollars paying for people who do not work or do their fair share. Nothing against the inner city teachers but those trucks tore up our roads and the fracking damaged the land we live on. That is where the tax dollars should go first. They did the same thing with the casinos. They put the casino in our back yard with the traffic and extra police and government paid for by us yet the tax money goes elsewhere. We are tired of being used because of mob rule were 51% of the people take advantage of the other 49%.

I have no problem helping people in need. Sometime what they need is a job instead of a handout. I am hoping Trump will crack down on the people taking advantage of our laws, our immigration policies, and those abusing our help for those truly in need.

Backlash against liberal/moderate boneheaded immigration policy fueled a lot of trumps support.

If trump keeps his word immigration is going to be a big fight during his adminstration.

Well now lets hope our leaders will concentrate on the problem not taking or restricting our rights. A lot of these gun laws are the result of innercity crime which need addressing. Even outside the city we have our pocket of crime imported from the large innercity because it was cheaper to live here.

There will be a fight. Not against legal immigration but criminals with no respect for our laws, our immigration policies, and the rights of the citizens to decide who comes into our country.

Legal immigration will be affected by what we do about the law breakers.

One issue will be the syrian refugees that the EU and UN expect America to take in.

Obama and hillary wanted more and trump said no more

but that was during the campaign.

I see that as an early test of whether trump is serious and meant what he said or not

I have never been a fan of refugees. We cannot take in all the people in the world that are the victims of war, terrorism, evil dictators, famine, etc.

Running from a problem is not a solution and never will be.

We need to work with them to help them solve their problem. No, we can't do it for them.

What happens when the problems come to this country. Where do they run then? Running from problems solves nothing. People who think it is the solution are part of the problem.

We cannot do it ourselves either. With the support of our allies, the willingness of the refugees to fight for their rights and freedom, or overcome some adversity we can easily help all these people with their problems. That is the solution.
