Poor fellow broke the law. Just a misdemeanor, at least.

Hint Eric - it helps to know if it's legal or not to share your ballot selfie with the world.

As we roll through Election Day, voters around the country are sharing photos of their ballots on social media. Among those is Eric Trump, who tweeted out a completed ballot for his father this morning. One small problem: the photo was probably illegal.

He has since the deleted the tweet.

New York, where Eric Trump lives, has a law on the books making it a misdemeanor if anyone "shows his ballot after it is prepared for voting, to any person so as to reveal the contents." Similar "ballot selfie" laws are in place in several states around the US.

By the way, there's a neat link there to check and see if it's legal in your state. In New Hampshire, it is legal, and I took mine. Like I said, #neverclinton and #nevertrump! I felt the Johnson. First time in my life I didn't chose the name of the GOP candidate, but if anyone else's name from the Primary was there instead, I would have. Thanks, Trumpkins!

I was confused for a second and thought Eric Trump voted for Johnson/Weld.
