I think you are missing something. It's not about who is smart or not. I doubt they are doing their own taxes, probably done by an accounting firm. It's just a matter of following the tax laws.

Yeah I know. I was trying to be facetious.
I noticed that 'dead broke and in debt' isn't the same as 'bankrupt'. 'Bankrupt' used to be a scornful term, a reason for derision and contempt, representing failure and untrustworthiness. Now it seems to have become a strategy.

Neither of them have any idea what broke is. Apparently, it's buying just a mansion or living in a luxury high rise. To me, it's not being able to buy a cup of coffee because you don't have the money.

If Hillary loses, it will be because she couldn't speak the language of common Americans. McCain lost to Obama because Obama came across as someone who the average citizen could understand.

McCain and Hillary both spent too much time in the political system to be able to relate to Joe Citizen.

Trump's advantage is that he speaks in a way that resonates with blue collar and middle class Americans. Despite Hillary's years of practice at public speaking, she still comes across as unconnected to mainstream America, regardless of how many joke writers she hires.

I see what you're saying about rich people having a different concept of what ' broke' means, but Hillary has a very well known problem with telling the truth. She even lied about why her mother decided to name her Hillary. The woman is allergic to telling the truth.

Its a non-issue to me. people waiting years or decades to claim Trump called them "fat" or patted their asses when they had entered a beauty contest ranks up in the Yawn Department

For libs, it has to be against the law and they have to get caught and convicted before they will consider having a problem with it. For it to be wrong for her to just take money for favorable treatment never enters the mind of a liberal.
