Reddit Users Declare War On Hillary’s Paid Internet Trolls

People are just crazy. Look at all the idiots that think Trump would make a good president! (Or Hillary, for that matter.)

You got your lib-tards and you got your tea-tards. They may be politically opposed but they seem to have a lot in common.

Something that escapes the discussion here and in most places is that all of the establishment: Media Elites, Dem Elites, Rep Elites, Lobbyist elites all hate Trump.

If they hate him, there must be a reason for it. They all love each other and that incestuous echo chamber has given us our current state of affairs. In the case of the Clintons, you are free to read "affairs" under any definition that seems most fitting.

In Washington, a gaf is most often that rare occurrence when a politician tells the truth. With Trump, you can bet that his mouth will run quite a bit. If you think that a good negotiator reveals all of his tactics before being seated at the table, then you won't like Trump.

If you want a guy who likes to win, knows how to win and has committed to winning for you, then Trump is your guy.

Why would you want a career politician when they have demonstrated that they will refuse, on a perpetual basis, to get ANYTHING done?

Why not try a new approach? If he fails, then it's only more of the same. If he succeeds, then maybe we'll have a template for ongoing success.

In passing, I asked Chomskey about his affiliation for Bernie. Do you share his affiliation?

I still don't get the fascination with Bernie. I know it's there, I just don't understand why.

Of course, I don't understand how a 747 can fly when it weighs a little less than a million pounds on the highest fully loaded end.

Why do you think he would make a good leader?

I think he'd be a good leader because he offers solutions that have given other developed countries a better standard of living for the average person, recognizes the critical importance of getting private money out of public office more than anyone else (Clinton didn't touch the issue until he forced her to and Trump barely mentioned it except as a political cudgel against Hillary), has demonstrated excellent judgement (his analysis of the consequences of the Iraq war and reasons for not voting for it were basically prescient as an example; leeriness of foreign intervention that has nearly always proven correct), has an honesty and candor not seen in any other modern politician, and is willing to take people to task and use the bully pulpit to help flip a recalcitrant Republican House and Senate.

Sure none of his ideas would come to pass with a GOP dominated House; he'd have to flip it to start making real progress, but that would be true of virtually any kind of progressive legislation that a Dem president attempts to craft.

A quick check of my post history will reveal that, even though I love Bernie like Santa Claus, (who doesn't love Santa Claus, right?) I believe in the success of his policies and proposals about as much as I believe in Santa Claus (or Trump building a wall around America.)

But, that being said, I think Sanders has more honor and integrity in his pinky toe than Hillary and Trump has, in their whole bodies. His heart is in the right place. But I am not one to put much faith in glitter and unicorns or the government actually ever doing anything for the people. At best, I don't despise Bernie like I do Clinton and Trump. I actually kind of like the old coot.

Where are DP's paid trolls? We don't rate?

No, we don't. Reddit has millions of frequent users, while we probably only have a couple hundred people on here a week, a small portion of which actually post content. To top it off, the majority of people perusing a politics forum probably already have their minds made up on who they're voting for, while a community that isn't dedicated to political debate is more likely to have undecided voters participating.

The Hillary campaign has paid trolls $1 million to go on Reddit and downvote Trump supporters and spread Hillary's lies.

Incredible.

Where are DP's paid trolls? We don't rate?

Where do you go to get a job as an internet troll, anyway?

Oh, come on. Next thing you know, you're going to post a Daily Caller article that swears "good sources" confirm that Obama is gay and his kids are adopted. Oh, wait....that's already being posted in this forum!

Do facts and verification mean nothing to extremists?

LOL, you forgot that Obama's wife is a pre-op male. I guess verifying this bizarre stuff is not on the extremist agenda.

CTR most definitely paid $1 million to troll Bernie during the primaries ( http://www.debatepolitics.com/redir...ton-SuperPac-Admits-to-Paying-Internet-Trolls | Clinton PAC spends $1 million to 'correct' people online - Business Insider ); why not invest more still for the more crucial race with Trump? The Clinton machine has a stored history of employing trolls:

Apparent CTR memo: https://www.scribd.com/document/327697446/CTR-Digital-Disruption-Memo

I haven't yet seen this verified, but no denials or comment have been forthcoming from CTR concerning its authenticity or lackthereof.

Well, my attraction to Bernie is that I often align with his values, platform, and policies.

It's my personal preference, and obviously others may differ.

Leadership per se, might not be his strongest suit. But I feel pretty good about his domestic policy. In wartime, I'd probably prefer the Clinton's in office, but not for much more than that. And as much as I agree with some aspects of Trump's campaign, I don't believe he has the proper psyche to sit at the President's desk.

I like Trump. He has not had the years of experience in not saying what he means. It is said that a politician commits a gaff when he says what he really thinks.

By that definition, Trump is continuously gaffing.

The weight of the office will reduce his flights of fancy and he is learning on the job.

Remember Obama? He was a polished politician and a ridiculously atrocious leader incapable of compromise, deal making or guidance. Trump is a horrible politician, but a gifted chief executive.

Given the choice, I'll take the experienced chief executive to be the chief executive. He can hire politicians.

So they want peoples' input but just not ones that do not match their agenda, hmmmm, does not sound like they really are all that interested in the Truth. Yes, I am sure there are Hillary supporters out there that have nothing else to do with their time and play Troll, just as I am sure there are Trump Trolls that do exactly the same thing. it is politics, nothing dirtier than that.

Fair enough, I can respect your thoughts on this.

I looked at Trump pretty hard. But his extreme nastiness and divisiveness turned me off. Right message in many general terms, but the wrong guy for me. I'll accept his Presidency should he prevail though, and I'll hope for the best.

The thing I find most positively impressive about Trump is that all of the pit vipers who populate DC hate and actively oppose him and they are from both sides of the aisle.

The only thing that unites them is that they are all career politicians who fear the gravy train might be coming to a stop.

If bugs run from poison, I want some of that poison right outside my front door keeping the bugs out. In our House in DC, the Bugs are already there infesting the place.

Bring on the poison!
