LOL That is also why history is filled with pointless wars, death and destruction. If we are to break that cycle we need to realize that we are all human beings.

I wish the Trumper/Limbaugh/FOX type people no harm. I just wish they had a region of their own, to be with like minded people, and disappear from my sight, never to be heard from again. I would hope that they would live long and prosper on their side of the wall.

Unfortunately, regardless of my desire to have everyone live in peace, it will NEVER HAPPEN.

The only way to break the cycle, is at end of a gun. And that ain't peace.

Mankind did not evolve to live together in harmony. It's never happened, and never will.

Stick to Star Trek, where fantasy has a greater chance of becoming reality than global harmony will in the real world.

Not at all. Mickey's point is very simple. When you have a society where 50 percent or more are takers on society, that society can not survive. It's so simple so I'm not sure why some don't get it. Think of it as tug of war. If you have 100 people and you divide them in half, you'll likely have no movement. However, move some on either side disproportionately and you'll either have success or you'll have failure. Talking about families as a unit is important. A husband or wife supporting their family financially while the other supports them on the home front is seen as both contributing. It is when the family as a whole isn't then you have failure and when it becomes more than those families who are contributing then you have complete failure!
