BORDER FLOOD BEFORE VOTE... 275,000 born to illegals in one year...

Because they are poor.

They want all the free stuff democrats are offering because they cant get t any other way.

So your beef is with the poor, then, not Mexicans in particular.

I'm not sure "mexicans are lazy and just want free stuff" is a good starting point.

Well you could look at it as a step up from calling them murderers and rapists... still a long ways to go but perhaps headed in the right direction?

MCALLEN, Texas (CBSNewYork/AP) — There has been a surge of immigrants illegally crossing into the United States leading up to next month’s presidential election.

CBS News reports dozens of immigrants have been streaming through the streets of McAllen, Texas, on a daily basis. They have been taken to a migrant center at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where they were released by Border Patrol, with ankle monitors, while they file for asylum.

Moms in the United States illegally gave birth to 275,000 babies in 2014, enough birthright U.S. citizens to fill a city the size of Orlando, Florida, according to an analysis of data from the National Center for Health Statistics.

OMG, Dozens, Every Day, We are Doomed!

You do know that they cannot vote, right????

So your beef is with the poor, then, not Mexicans in particular.

My beef is that they are here illegally

and that the presence of so many poor foreigners in our country is bad for American citizens

See, I knew you could talk sense, I just did not expect it.

So what are Your solutions, Long Term solutions? I have mine but want to hear yours first, if you do not mind.

First stop the bleeding

Meaning build a wall

That does not mean a physical wall along the entire border but a wall/fence/electronic monitoring where appropriate

Remove all incentives in our immigration laws to encourage illegal aliens to move here

That means putting an end to the anchor baby loophole, the central american child refugee magnet and special treatment for cubans for instance

Severely punish employers who knowing hire illegal aliens after we have a reliable E-Verify system for businesses to use

But at the same time severe punishment for illegal aliens who steal ss numbers and the identities of American citizens

After those reforms are working then we can debate what to do with the 11 to 30 million illegal aliens already here

The first one is pretty much already in place.

The others I agree with 100%, especially going after those that hire them.

Take away the reasons they come here and the numbers go down on their own, dramatically.

See how easy that was to come to consensus, actual ideas are always are preferable to rhetoric, that is how things actually get done.

I am always happy to have agreement

but in this case none of what we just agreed on has happened yet

And if the anti trump washington establishment has its way none of it ever will hapoen

A third of our border with Mexico is already fenced and the rest is under constant surveillance, seen it myself in Texas, NM and AZ, they still get through. The rest of real answers are up to the Feds, and no President has or will implement the other solutions, you know it and I know it. Hey, We put them there............and are going to do so again.

For sure none of the washington establishment politicans in either party are serious about ending illegal alien immigration abuse.

But I think trump is serious

I agree.

I don't buy it, all talk as far as I am concerned. Had this been an actual Republican I might, with a whole lot of skepticism, with Trump I do not believe much he says.

I think actual republicans who have spent their entire adult lives in government are less believable than trump

Most career politicians who have been in washington more than 10 years are habitual liars who only care about getting reelected

I disagree and I am not a Repub or Dem. I admire the Man running the House, he was smart enough to stay out of the Circus this year and comes across as a Man that actually cares about the Nation. Let me say this my wife, far more Liberal than I am, likes the guy and said she would have loved it if he had run. No "outsider" will ever be elected or if they were they would be at odds with both Parties and nothing of note would be accomplished. Now if a respected member of either Party was to get themselves in a position to influence the future of the Nation for the better and used the system to try and ensure the Nation was on the right track then they might actually accomplish something good. The thing is, sadly, I believe it is too D*mn late to save it, the People have lost their way, it can be slowed but the situation is what it is.
Let me ask a question as an exercise in thought:
The other day I was checking out at a Walmart and the black lady checking me out asked if I was going hunting. I said no and asked her why she asked. She said that I was buying camping and hunting gear, along with normal "stuff", and just wanted to know what was up since she had three children and was concerned why so many people seem to be buying outdoors gear and if something was going to happen that she did not know about. I said I was simply making sure that I had the supplies I might need, then asked her a simple question; Do You Think Things Are Going To Get Better. Her answer was No.

Ask yourself the same question, ask your partner and see what their answer is, are things going to get Better or Worse? Do not reply with an answer to me, simply be honest with yourself and do what you think is best for you and yours. Yes, I know it is extremely pessimistic on my part, it seems as if being pessimistic is becoming far more common these days, either a whole lot of people are crazy or you might want to get yourself buckled in, the ride may be very rough.

Oh, I gave her my email if she had questions and I barely got home before I got a whole long list of questions. We had a good talk so I knew she was serious and not just overreacting. Anyway, had her out last week, with her three girls, talk about sweeties, best mannered young ladies I have seen in a long time. Good eats, lots of discussion on where we are, made a new Friend and set up a shooting day for her next week for her to maybe get a feel for what firearm might be best for her, I have a lot of choices she can try. She has already started building her and the girls BOB's and she looks like she may very well already have a better than even chance if things go badly. heck might even talk to our little group about bringing her within the fold, the wife likes her along with one other member and that always helps. Anyway, it is what many are starting to see, I am hoping more will do so while they still can.

Hey, hope for the best, prepare for whatever.

It does not hurt to be prepared.

But I dont think many city dwellers will live long if conditions are bad enough to need a bug out bag.

I do not like paul ryan any better than the slug he replaced

If trump is elected I think ryan will put the interests of the inside washington establishment over the need to reform washington

If hillary wins I think ryan will be her loyal lapdog

Agreed.

I do not live in the city.

She does not live in a major city, small town in the county. A BOB is enough if ones is smart and has a place to go, it is called preparing. But, yes, many would not make it.

Ok.

I think he would stand by his Conservative values and Trump is no Conservative, yes there would be serious problems.

I highly Doubt he would, unlike Hillary or Trump I believe he actually has Values and would do what he could to do what is best for the Nation. Would I agree with 100% of his actions, H*ll No, but he at least he has my respect, something I do not have for either the GOP or Dem candidate.

Y'know, I remember back in the mid 80's, my friends and I in the Navy were Absolutely Sure that the Soviets were going to launch the nukes any day now. So we had our plans, our go-bags, our rifles, our survival gear. We were all so doggone serious about it.

It took me a while, but I began to realize that we'd been pretty silly...even given the fact that we were FAR closer then to global thermonuclear war than we are today.

And so I look at both of your posts...and I see myself thirty-odd years ago...and my advice for both of you is the same I wish I could have given myself when I thought as you did: Relax. Grab some beers and go fishing, and relax, and stop thinking that the world's a-gonna end. If it does, there's not much you can do about it except to die, maybe sooner, maybe later...but die you eventually would, from fallout if from nothing else.

You see, all that time and effort and money we spent on planning for the whole world going to ****...if only we'd have put all that into something like starting our own business, or putting some money down on a small lot where we could build a house. If only we'd have refrained from drinking the survivalist Kool-Aid.

Just something for both of you to think about.

Paul ryan has not stood up to obama in any meaningful way

But for the sake of the inside washington establishment I think ryan would fight trump tooth and nail.

I will tell you the same thing I said to Casper.

It does not hurt to be prepared.

If the US military had not remained in high alert during the Cold War the Soviets might have been tempted to try something.

Being a strong nation promoted peace
