EVERY supporter of either candidate who has spoken out has gotten some of this treatment, it certainly isn't just on Hillary's side that we have seen such behavior. Trump supporters have been similar in some cases. We need to take care to avoid condemning just one side lest we seem merely partisan.

First of all, your statement that "EVERY" supporter of either candidate who has spoken out has gotten some of this treatment is not possibly correct.

I think yours is a very biased opinion ignoring reality.
I think the condemnation is justified.
I don't recall the "Trumpsters" blocking any Interstates.
I don't see Trump supporters knocking out the elderly on city streets.

You appear to want to overlook the truth of what's happening in America. Placing your head in the sand will not make the problem go away.

The incidents reported by the media and by private video recordings appear to be more often (by a significant number) perpetrated by the Progressive Totalitarian bullies.
That speaks volumes as the truth is probably far grimmer since the media does not support the reporting of such as it goes against their agenda.

The nation is divided and I do not see it getting repaired any time soon.

It serves no legitimate purpose to post this crap and then add "Trump supporters", as a blanket statement.

Such efforts are exactly what is wrong with the media this election cycle, and what should be of grave concern to all voters, regardless of political party.

The nation is so far off the mark of what the Founders envisioned, our country is unrecognizable from what it was supposed to be. We're being pushed in a direction that is not going to end well.

Agreed. There are forces at play doing the pushing that are very interested in changing the vision, and they have been very patient and very determined.

Not ending well may be an understatement.

I should add, not ending well also appears to be exactly what these forces are counting on.

I look at Europe and I shake my head wondering what exactly is going through their minds as they allow their culture to be subverted by a people who could care less about Europe. And then I say to myself, why in the world do we want to be like them and let our country be Balkanized, ripped apart, it makes no sense to me.

Just this week. While he's not wearing a Clinton T-shirt, I don't think it's much of a stretch to make a correct conclusion. Any other conclusion is likely ignorant.
And no I am not saying ALL black men are Clinton supporters, but reality suggests a majority of violent black men are. If you deny this, you are in denial of significant circumstantial evidence.

I think the answer lies in greed. There are families who have amassed great wealth and have held it for generations.
Eventually, those people begin to feel "above" other classes of people because in all honesty, they are indeed treated much differently.

Over time they begin to have contempt for the under classes (often for good reasons imo)
This eventually leads to the organization of massive financing directed toward separating the classes and influencing politics such that that wealthy class is favored and the lower classes manipulated to basically serve those wealthy classes.

In a nutshell, I believe this is what is happening in America.

Some might argue that Socialism is the cure. However, nothing could be further from the truth as Socialism provides the same mechanisms for power to be consolidated and abuse to occur. Only accelerated.

I agree. There is a reason there is a process to immigrate to the United States.

I believe it's not because we want to limit immigration, but we want to make sure the immigrants understand the values and principles the United States operates with. These values and principles are likely unknown to them, so it's important they understand and embrace them so they can contribute and hopefully realize the American Dream they are given the opportunity to work for.

It should be quite clear why these forces are trying to stop that message and the assimilation it encourages.

Okay, I understand that. But I also understand our world is very abundant and there is plenty to go around. What I'm wrestling with is why we are allowing our country to devolve into something it was never meant to be. Socialism isn't the cure, it's the disease. Such a system only benefit a select few, Mao was a billionaire, the Castro brothers are rich beyond belief, is that what the left wants? It appears so. If we allow open borders, we will have no recourse but to have a gov't that rules with an iron fist.

Open borders, globalism, corrupt gov't and media, push towards socialism that would rival Europe, yeah I don't see any this as helpful. We're watching Europe, well, at least some of us are, being thrown into turmoil and this is supposed to be a good thing? And the left wants that to happen here. Unbelievable.

I think it boils down to gullibility. There are research studies that say that the brain of a Progressive Left person is more emotional and easier to sway with nefarious data.
I don't have a link at this time but I do recall such articles. I cannot vouch for their accuracy or validity. But they certainly sound reasonable.

So simply put, the Left consists of largely of people who are easily influenced by propaganda, misinformation and bait and switch tactics.
