Trying to judge a whole based on a very small part is asinine, but that's essentially what you tried to do. And what's worse, you did it based on ZERO evidence except the color of his skin. He claimed no political allegiance and his actions certainly weren't politically motivated, but you still claimed he was a Clinton supporter anyways. This is why I constantly try to tell people it's never a good idea to become a blind partisan, because blind partisanship leads one to say/post stupid things.

One of these days, I hope to find a Trump supporter who can have a rational discussion and not just vomit lies and rhetoric all over me. It will be a welcome change.

I think the dim and gullible tend to adopt leftist ideas because they're easier for them to understand. Using the force of centralized government to help the weaker members of society has a superficial appeal to them as a nice and kind thing to do, and they tend not to consider whether there is any constitutional authority for the coercion that requires, or whether it really is nice or kind in the end. Appreciating the ideas of Locke or Burke or Smith requires more mental effort than the run-of-the-mill pseudo-liberal drone is used to.

Definitely a two way street. This is a very ugly election, with both sides portraying a victory by the other as the end of the world as we know it.

I see it completely different. I see a loss by either as the end of them in politics. If Hillary loses, she is toast. Gone. Bye Bye Clintons forever from the DNC. If Trump loses, he too will be gone from politics. So...win-win ;) that's how I see this election.

I'd like to see the right end of the political spectrum achieve 'peace through strength' WRT the excessively loud liberal / progressive minority and their continual flood of bad ideas, and becoming public policy.

Hillary is going to win, Trump is going to become the new Rush Limbaugh. At least he's less of a pedophile.

He will try to be influential, like Micheal Moore said, he's the Molotov cocktail of politics.

Having said that, the Republican party is headed for a civil war. Their situation is untenable, but that doesn't tell us when the sane ones will go to the mattresses.

I believe the ball started rolling when President Obama came out of the gate claiming he was going to fundamentally change the United States. What did he expect the reaction would be, given the associations with people he tried to keep quiet?

Welcome to DP, late.

20 years ago, I used to be stuck in a car for hours on end, driving from state to state, during the Limbaugh show. I also happened to be pretty far Right of Center politically at the time. So, I gave the show a try. It was horrible---the guy gave me a headache. I went back to NPR even though I didn't always agree with their positions. At least listening to it never gave me a headache.

I simply could not handle Limbaugh or Hannity's ADD style, where they go from one talking point to the next without filling the space in between. There shows lack continuity and anything of substance. Eventually, I realized these shows are intended for the ADD listeners who can handle only short bursts of talking points they agree with. Trump does that. So, he'll probably do great being the next Rush.
