How f'n dumb is Joe Biden?

I'd bet if Biden had run, he'd win by such a HUGE margin that Trump might implode and cover half of New York City with orange goo.

I'm not a Biden fan either, but talk about opportunity lost on his part.

If the USofA was voting for either Biden or Trump this November, what would the landslide margin of victory be?

65% Biden to 35% Trump? Wider?

Are we talking popular vote percentages or electoral college percentages?

Popular mainly, but you can comment on both.

I don't think you're too far off on the percentages for popular, but I'd probably go a few percentage points higher for Trump cause honestly IMO there are 40% that will not vote for a democrat under any circumstances, even Trump. Electoral college wise I'd still give trump all the red and pink states for 141 electoral votes, which would give it a 74% to 26%.

There is at least 1 email, that seems to indicate that someone dissuaded him to from running.

This all assumes that we know what would have happened during the Democratic Primary if it were Clinton, Biden, and Sanders (well... and, O'Malley.) Thinking about this in terms of where Biden falls in the political scope of both liberal leans and establishment connections it very well might have been the case that Biden's support would have taken a little from both Clinton and Sanders shifting the question to would Biden's likely support during the primary be enough to take out both Clinton and Sanders? I am not so sure it would have been.

But assuming for just a moment that Biden could have won the primary and had at least partial establishment support then we might be able to conclude that Biden would be in a similar position against Trump as Hillary is today.

I tend to think the distance might be *slightly* wider only because there seems to be less "private email server and/or Benghazi" type scandals to pin Biden with but then again being Obama's VP is bound to come with some other baggage Republicans might exploit.

Joe Biden is a walking blunder. The "they gonna put y'all back in chains" comment has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard a politician say.

Everyone thinks that other candidates would walk through this spotless, but both sides are working at undermining the other to the fullest extent. Romney was an excellent candidate compared to Trump and by election time he was a greedy capitalist pig, even though he's given millions to charity.

Biden has been VP for 8 years. He's been very controlled and mainly unobtrusive for the vast majority of that time. He also suffered the loss of his son during that time too.

He's got maybe 1/10th the baggage of Hillary or Trump when it comes to what he'd be like as the next POTUS.

Joe Biden is a walking blunder.

When compared to Clinton and/or Trump he'd still rise above them without breaking a sweat.

I am not, nor have I ever been a Biden supporter. And I'm a native of Delaware. Never voted for him once.

Just comparing him to Clinton and Trump.

OP is completely wrong.

Implosions don't spread a mess, explosions do.
