its too far to even speculate what the environment will be then. Portman's biggest problem are the morons who are going to stay home because he came out in favor of gay rights because his son Will is homosexual

Yeah, it's the morons who turned me off to the base of the party. If the GOP can figure out a way to send them to a Third Reich Party, then the GOP may be able to rise up again. But, if that doesn't happen, and if the Redneck Deplorables gain even more power, I see the exodus of all the Centrists and Moderates coming in the next few years.

I don't agree with the GOP on abortion or gays but neither one of them personally affects me

tax hikes and gun bans do. end of story

Yeah, I get that.

I seriously doubt Hillary gets either tax hikes or gun bans through Congress. But, she will put people on the SCOTUS who are not going to push us back to the 50's...the 1850's.

It wouldn't have mattered, there was no one suitable except Ben Carson and he didn't have a chance...we need a business man or a military man in there to be effective. Grandma politicians are just for show. Window dressing for the Shadow Govt. as it were....
The powers that be, nixed Petraeus before he had a chance to run....he would have been excellent.

She has approximately a 90% chance of it right now, depending on which of the prognosticators you want to lean on.

If I was a betting man, I'd put the house, the farm, the wife and the dog on it.
