FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey, Lynch decision to let Clinton slide by on emails, says insider | Fox News

career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.
No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute -- it was a top-down decision,” said the source, whose identity and role in the case has been verified by FoxNews.com
A high-ranking FBI official told Fox News that while it might not have been a unanimous decision, “It was unanimous that we all wanted her [Clinton’s] security clearance yanked.

The corruption at the white house level and the DOJ and the FBI is amazing. the fact that no one can do anything about it is what stymies me.
surely there is someone out there that can file a suit and go after her and have her arrested.

If there was any doubt she should have been. That way the air would have been cleared and at least some faith in the justice department and agencies would have been saved.

There is no question that her negligient handling of Classified material should have resulted in her losing her security clearance. It happens to less political servicemen and women all the time.

Imo a deal should of been cut. They should of forced her not to run in exchange for not prosecuting. Omally would not been a bad nominee and the nation would be spared the shame she threatens to bring to the white house.

without her security clearance she couldn't run for president though.

Given that when I debate people on this it leads to "the entire Justice Department is corrupt" I see no avenue for a rational discussion. When it is all said and done, no confidential information was compromised and America's interests were not affected. This has nothing to do with any harm that was caused and everything to do with a witch hunt because some people feel Clinton got special treatment. If that is the case then it is systemic, but aside from a personal desire to see Clinton in jail, I doubt anyone really cares. It will stop being an issue as soon as she is elected, because right now it is being used as an election issue but when it can no longer be used as such, people will go back to not caring about it.

Then you should support changing the laws as they regard the handling of sensitive material. After all, I cant imagine you want a low level employee facing charges while the rich and powerful are untouched. The law, to be just, must apply to all people equally. If people have been or are being prosecuted or facing some form of discipline for doing far less than she admits to doing, then those people should be given a pass as well. Even Comey said that his refusal to recommend prosecution should not be seen by others as a free pass to engage in similar activity. Imagine if some low level, pencil pusher at the Pentagon used a home server to communicate sensitive material. Do you think the FBI would give them a pass as well?

As I said, you and nobody else will probably care after the election. That is the only reason that this is an issue. If I see a push from the public for changes to the Justice Department to hold higher ups more accountable after the election then I will sincerely apologize, but it will not happen.

That people 'don't care' about violations of law by politicians is why we have corrupt politicians.

The boldest statement might be actually happening and is a systematic problem.

The administration was never going to allow the DOJ to prosecute Clinton. Not in a million years, and if it had been a Republican administration the same thing would have happened. It was a political decision, the actual facts around the case are irrelevant.

That has no affect on anything I can post you the relevant law if you want. They have no way of knowing what information was given out.
BS it doesn't.

there are people that have had their security clearances revoked for less things. She did get special treatment that much is clear fact as other people who have done less
have gotten their security clearances pulled.

People should care that the law is not being equally carried out. in fact it should be very very disturbing that the people that are supposed to uphold the law are not doing it
as long as you are politically connected.

if she gets elected what other secrets is she willing to sell. she owes a lot of people a lot of money and favors.
people don't pay you 250+k dollars for a 30 minute speech for no reason.
