I think I would go after her for her statements on the girls that told on Clinton's husband's victims, if I didn't want to look at the security, conflict of interest or corruption scandals.

Once more, a conservative posts something that has been thoroughly debunked time and time and time again...

...but then, he is from the same side that believes that Hillary caused the death of our ambassador in Benghazi, even though there've been no less than EIGHT separate federal investigations (most of which were run by the Hillary-must-hang-for-her-crimes GOP House Benghazi committee)...and EVERY SINGLE ONE of those investigations found precisely ZERO wrongdoing on Hillary's part. Despite all this, the Right still thinks that she did it, whatever "it" may have been.

In other words, it simply doesn't matter how innocent Hillary may be of the conservative accusation of the day - if she's accused of something, she MUST be guilty! No need for silly little things like evidence and provable fact - just get out the rope already!

I know you hate Hilary, and the abject fear of a woman in the White House causes your sphincter muscle contract into hardened steal, but dude you look desperate, ignorant, easily fooled and less than aware of the issues.

Sorry, but from my perspective you have presented an example of the "zero" informed voter, and not helped your hero Donald Trump at all

No, she was a public servant doing her job - and doing did it in exemplary fashion!

She was not appointed, but accepted the case as a favor to prosecutor, Mahlon Gibson.

Hillary Clinton: I had some really tough clients. I had one appear, a prosecutor called me years ago, said that he had a guy who was accused of rape...and the guy wanted a woman lawyer...

She wasn't a public defender. The tape proves that the prosecutor singled her out and she accepted. This means the stories that she was appointed were made up 20 years after the tape was made. This was done to make it seem like she had to take this awful case. That is false.

Alright, you make an interesting point here; that she was hired on as a public defender.

But my understanding here is that in the locale in question, at least at that time, public defenders were chosen for cases from the general private pool of attorneys, and it was considered an attorney's duty to do a PD stint if the need arose.

I recall this awhile back, but don't have a link for it.

But regardless, this is what public defenders do and it's a requirement of our legal system, so what seems to be the problem?

that video demonstrates how well hillary did her job as a defense attorney
she laughed at the prospect that the defendant passed the lie detector test, causing her to believe it was unreliable. that indicates she believed her client to be guilty, yet she defended him as was her fiduciary obligation
again, she laughed at the judge not wanting her, the female attorney, present when he questioned hillary's client because of hillary's gender and the nature of the questons the judge would be asking. the judge was obviously old school. and hillary rightfully refused to leave the client alone with the judge when questions were being asked of him
nothing you have presented speaks to anything other than the good lawyering hillary did

and hillary was asked if she would accept that obligation to represent the man seeking such representation
why was it wrong for a lawyer/hillary to accept that assignment?

It technically isn't as long as you're not gonna run for President one day. They invented a lie that the initial contact came from the court/judge but the audio proves otherwise. It's just a lie and many others exist in this case accompanied by massive assertions. They always they say it's the cover-up that gets folks in trouble.

She was doing her job. She is not the one who found him not guilty. The decider was (either a jury or a judge). I don't know if he was guilty or not, and neither do you.


If you are ever tried for a crime, I think you're going to want an attorney who does his/her job in representing you. Defense attorneys don't just represent a defendant, his/her job is also to make sure the rights of the accused are protected and that the law has been followed throughout the process.

The police can't just stop and frisk you without any reason (like Trump wants the police to be able to do). It's a defense attorney's job to make sure that that didn't happen, or if it did, any evidence obtained that way is thrown away. Even if the accused is found guilty. That's because it's illegal for the police to do that, and part of their punishment is that the loot they got by doing the illegal activity is thrown out of court.

People seem to confuse the different jobs of a defense attorney. They don't exist only to get an innocent person off, or a guilty person off. For some things, it's irrelevant whether the defendant is guilty or innocent. Otherwise, the police would do a lot of illegal things, comforted by the knowledge that if they get a conviction, they can continue to get away with doing illegal searches.

She thought it was a problem or else she and her minions would not have made up a fake story for why she took the case. She wanted to take the case and that's what made her lie about it 20 years later.
