I'm not defending Hillary. I'm asking you to back up your implication that I'm naïve because we all know Hillary incites violence at her rallies. Surely you can link examples of this happening.

It's kind of a messed up thing to say, but people get kicked out of these rallies all the time. A rally is part publicity stunt and they don't want any protesters or "unsavories" around to possibly muck it up. It's an odd thing to say, but honestly I don't think she was actually ordering people to follow that guy, I think she made an off-color joke that was mostly stupid but it's her rally and she can be stupid if she wants to.

I mean, did people follow the guy and stage an intervention? Perhaps then maybe we'd have a bit stronger case of condemnation. In the end, there is so much to go after Hillary for, that is of much greater concern and severity, that this is pretty well a non-issue.

Sorry, I don't mean to be laughing at you, Ikari. The irony just struck me about the parallel between what you just said and some of the rhetoric...from both sides...that I've heard about Trump and similar situations.

I think a lot can be said for Trump as well, I never said that Hillary and Trump are all that different. In fact, I think they are both vapid, corporate charlatans with no real substance or political platform behind them. And yes, there is quite a bit of what Trump says that can be taken as off-color jokes, but Trump tends to double even quadruple down on some of the stupid crap he says. He exacerbates a lot of it himself.

And, in the end there is so much to go after Trump for, that is of much greater concern and severity than some of his idiotic comments, that those comments are pretty well non-issues.

Actually there are other candidates to choose from or one can stick by their principles and not support any of them.
