Being absent from the forum for a while, I recall so many posters saying "bern or bust" and that they would never vote for Hillary....

I was on the teetering edge of that. Ultimately didn't commit to a position of Bernie or Bust because the stakes are/were way too high; Trump becoming president with as close to absolute power as is possible in the States via control of the House, Senate and even Judiciary? Hell no.

Hate Clinton, but the idea of that terrifies. To be absolutely clear I'm voting against Trump, not for Clinton.

The ones I know personally did one of the following:
1. Became disinterested in the election once he was no longer a candidate and aren't voting at all.
2. Grudgingly accepted Hillary as the lesser evil.
3. Moved over to Gary Johnson.

Of these, number 3 seems the most bizarre since Johnson is in the opposite end of the spectrum to Bernie. This is, perhaps, an indication of just how politically uninformed many Bernie supporters actually were.

But I'm not voting for Hillary. I'm voting 3rd Party.

More likely 3 was most interested in Bernie's social libertarianism and more isolationist foreign policy than anything else.

We're still here. Still not voting for Hillary. Why would you just assume we no longer exist?
 
Too bad really, I'll bet if Bernie hadn't got screwed by the DNC he would be doing much better against Trump.

I am still Bernie or Bust, but I am cautiously considering a "bust" vote for Trump to stop Clinton.

I always thought that BS would burn the country with worn out populist anchronisms and a worse risk than that abysmal candidate the voterd chose for the Republicans to run.
 
This is the first presidential election I've been part of where BOTH nominees are incredibly unpopular. Many Bernie fans won't vote for her and many Cruz/Rubio fans won't vote for him.

Its also the first election where we knew the candidate was a corrupt BEFORE we elected her.
 
The Bernie people are in the same place the Cruz people are. Confused, and a little embarrassed.

The Cruz and Trump people laughed at the Sanders supporters when he endorsed Clinton. But now that Cruz flip flopped like the slime he is and endorsed Trump, they ain't laughing anymore.

We are now Trump supporters.

We want a CHANGE candidate like Bernie, but he's gone. The only thing to do is elect Trump and then we'll have a shot at getting a Bernie candidate elected in four years.

If Hillary gets in she'll be in for eight years and hand it off to another puppet of the Big Bankers.......meaning a sure 16 years of consolidation of the Oligarchy.

Why are you calling Mrs. Clinton corrupt? Is she any different than anyone else? Is she more corrupt than Trump? Think what he would do to us if he goes dark. What's Mrs. Clinton going to do, repeat Benghazi? She already got those Republicans for stalling the recovery, now they better behave and she's going to put some nice believers in science on the Supreme Court.

Most of the Bernie crowd were just in it for the free stuff and since Hillary adopted most of the give-away agenda and the Democrats are historically the party that attracts the teat suckers, I'd guarantee that upwards of 100% of those who actually aren't too lazy to get up and vote will cast their ballot for Hillary and await their checks in the mail, or direct deposit and accessible on their smart phones.

1.) In June, Hillary conceded a few very good issues on the DNC platform. I still can't stand her, I still don't believe that she thinks any of these ideas are good or that she wants to do them, but with enough momentum, she can be forced into it.

2.) Trump has grown increasingly crazy, and not in the ways usually talked about. In June and July, we have seen from behind the scenes that he fully intends to delegate all of the presidential work to his VP. Therefore, the question of who his VP is became exceedingly important; with Trump, maybe he would do the 30% of liberal things that he said he liked, maybe he wouldn't. But since it's Mike Pence, he has a very clear, very long record of being a total monster. He was Bush's personal cheerleader for the Iraq War in the House of Representatives in 2002 and forward, he's destroyed social safety nets in Indiana and been a huge Tea Party imbecile. In short, I think that Pence seals the deal that Trump's administration will be a worse form of radical right-wing extremism than George Bush. I will not abide that.

3.) The SCOTUS seat was never filled, and looking over the roster, that's about 4 people the next president is going to pick. That's terrifying. I may not like Hillary, to put it mildly, but I trust her to put in better SCOTUS members than Trump, and since this basically will dictate the SCOTUS for the next 30 years, this is not optional.

So you were for Bernie before, but now you're considering Trump as an alternative.
