Oxymoron of the Day: Scholars for Trump

125 scholars and writers. Um, wow. How exciting. Two of them are Newt Gingrich and his wife. Um, wow.

No scholars writing for Hillary, no surprise there.

Moon Base Newtie - what a wizard he is, coupled with his Tiffany's shopping wife.

Overwhelming, ain't it!?

That he found 125 book readin and letter-writin people in the entire span of the United States? Unthinkable.

Wow, 125 whole scholars and writers? What a feat.

125 more than writing for Hillary.

Maybe she could ask 125 of the Crime Foundation donors to write her a thank you for all the pay for play they got.

I don't know what definition of "scholar" you're going with, but it's probably a really bad one.

Yup, 125 of them. Seriously. I don't know about you, but I'm impressed. I mean, this is yuuuge. It's a beautiful thing.

And believe me, these are the smartest people on the planet. I'm telling you, they are really, really, really, amazing people.

If I close my eyes, I can hear The Donald saying exactly that in his voice.

Nothing is as ironic as a known felon running for President.

Only the very best scholars

To my knowledge, Trump has not yet been convicted for his university scam or for using his charity to pay his legal fees.

Which is far more important than Hillary defying Congressional subpoenas, lying to Congress under oath about her mishandling of secret documents, selling access and/or influence as SecState for Foundation donations, etc.

It actually is more important. Clinton sought to cover her own ass (bad), while Trump knowingly defrauded people directly on a casual and repeated basis, doesn't pay his contractors and specifically set up factories in the one country that has the lowest salary in the world so that he only had to pay 33 cents an hour. His record for fraud and exploitation is tens of leagues above Clinton's worst exploits. And if Clinton had paid a state attorney general to drop an investigation into her I don't think you'd so casually wave it aside.
