The Clinton Foundation has been investigated, and no wrong doing has been found. The world is packed with unsavory organizations and people, if we declined all their money the world would be a much more problematic place. Speaking fees for ex-political leaders are exorbitant; don't ask me why. Why would anyone in their right mind pay $50 or $70k to hear George Bush mangle the English language? They do. Counterintuitively, very many in the corporate world make sizable political donations- to both parties. I imagine their cynicism is such that they believe they are hedging their bets. They may or may not be. Given Trump's ethical record so far, we hardly need guess about the value of the hedge in his case.

And really, even if true, why would we be surprised? Trump would be a disaster for the world, and I bet many countries are lobbying in various ways to head him off if possible. Even the British parliament had to debate a petition that would have banned Trump from the country. Muslim nations of course have a major stake in the issue, as Trump has effectively labeled them all terrorists. What Trump and his supporters do not understand is that words at the top levels of power have effect- a big effect. It's not the same as BSing with the good ol' boys down at the bar.
