Err. That's not accurate. Hillary has a long history of skirting the law, breaking the intent of the law, occlusion, corruption, taking foreign money from the unscrupulous, and any number of conspicuous conflicts of interest.

After a quick scan through the previous posts, I noted a number of personal opinions, with no logical or statistical backup, and a couple of references to right wing scandal sheets. In fact, looking a little deeper through sites such as Politifact, and others that are more generally recognized as not being absurdly partisan, some basic facts emerged. Clinton has lied, most certainly over the email issue, and has either lied or exaggerated over some other, much less critical events. In the recent debate, Clinton came clean, and admitted error with the emails, and took responsibility for it.

Trump has been noted in the above site, and a number of other respected outlets, as being unprecedented in issuing lies and misinformation in modern times. And these aren't defensive claims because of shame about an episode of poor judgement, these are truly world class whoppers, including, but most certainly not limited to, distortions and outright lies about the relationship of the US and its allies, the effects of trade agreements such as NAFTA and the TPP, the reasons for, and solutions to unemployment in America today, rates of crime in US cities, global warming, the rise of ISIS, and yes, even, and still, the black guy's birth place.

Those that think there is no difference between the candidates in this regard need to really get off their virtual asses and do some reading, and some thinking, before Nov 8.

Yes these are the real facts and even may be less than even your saying, there is the possibility that on a few things it was a simple mistake. While some in the party may be haters, it's not true for everyone in the party. So overly broad brush shouldn't apply.

Besides, given the GOP's miserable performance in the last 10 years or so, I think I'm more of an right leaning independent now anyway.

Your right but I have been watching this for two decades , the increase of the hatred of the soul of the party and its direction. it went from a hate lean to a hate by some, to a hate by a majority that was needed to make Trump the leader of their party. I've been saying for years that the core of the right is to hate oriented and that it is not good for the country or its population. but now I have free reign, as far as I'm concerned , when the majority took over that party it became the hate party , simple as that.
