Syed Abedin, the father of top Hillary Clinton aide Huma, outlined his view of Sharia law and how the Western world has turned Muslims “hostile” during a wide-ranging video interview that shines newfound light on the reclusive thinker’s world views, according to footage exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Abedin, a Muslim scholar who was tied to the Saudi Arabian government until his death in 1993, has remained somewhat of a mystery as the media turns its eye to his daughter Huma, a top Clinton campaign aide who recently announced her separation from husband Anthony Weiner following his multiple sex scandals.
Abedin said that Arab states must police the upholding of Sharia, or Islamic law, and explained why the majority of Muslims view Israel and the Western world in primarily “hostile” terms.

Who cares what an aides deceased father said 45 years ago? A muslim woman with a career of her own and marrying a Jew doesn't sound like someone who is interested in following her fathers beliefs or Sharia Law.

Everything that it puts out must be read with that in mind.

Here's the thing, the numbers and the facts just don't support fearing that this could happen in the US within hundreds of years. One thing is true though, that the number of people self identifying as Christian in the US has been declining - as seen in the chart below, self identifying Christians as a percentage of the overall US population has declined between the years of 2007 and 2014 by 7.8% as a total of the US population, from 78.4% to 70.6%.

However, that number has not gone to increase the number of Muslims. The percentage of Muslims in the US, during that same time period, increased by only 0.5% of the total population, from 0.4% in 2007 to 0.9% of the total US population in 2014.

The actual group that gained are those that are "unaffiliated" which includes Atheists with an increase of 1.5%, Agnostics with an increase of 1.6%, and Nothing in Particular (I call them the "don't give a fig") with an increase of 3.7%, for total of a 6.7% increase which accounts for most of the 7.8% decrease in the numbers of Christians.

So, what accounts for the decrease in the numbers of Christian? I have my opinion**, but I have no data to back it up. However, here's the article describing the study performed by Pew Research, which is where I got the chart below.

Even though I can't say with empirical data, why the population of Christians in the US has declined, one thing is clear from the data that does exist, that Muslims will never have enough power or numbers of votes to change the US from a Secular government and body of laws, to a Sectarian government ruled by Sharia law. Although I understand the fear of, loathing for, and fight against Sharia law in western society, I just don't see it as a problem in the US and nor do I feel it will be a real concern for numerous generations, if even ever at all.

** My personal opinion is that some people are moving away from Cristian denominations that are divisive and preach hatred of others while using the Bible as their excuse to show hatred and discriminate against others. However, if my opinion were applicable and wholly applicable and an accurate descriptor across the entire population, we would expect to see a major decline in the adherence to Islam given the horrors and atrocities carried out around the world in the name of Islam, but same type of decrease has not occurred with Islam. So, again, I have no factual data that reflects the causes of the decline in Christian adherents in the US.

Why do you people always think I'm the least bit afraid, just because I post an article? Pretty silly response. I have nothing to fear from Muslims....due to being well armed and my geography.

That army is already here. Some pretending to be peaceful and in waiting....others, radicalized and acting every month or so.
When the radical ones gain enough political power to carry out the Code of Islam, the others will fall in line.

This is what has happened or is happening in EVERY country that has allowed Muslims to immigrate. ... but it wont happen here.
