Seems to me like certain sexual acts would be pretty similar. I think receiving oral sex for instance, or being on top for anal sex, whether with a guy or girl, to label these hetero/homosexual acts could be more about judgment than a meaningful difference. This is how i think prison sex happens for many and to stay celibate instead could be the conditioned response

But i can you from the other perspective (although maybe your brother would disagree), even being conditioned from birth to view hetero relationships as normal by books/movies/church/parents etc, i find the thought of vaginal sex repulsive just the same. I think there's a point where clearly if you're 100% hetero/homosexual, the brain chemistry takes over beyond anything else

I'm still waiting for him to explain exactly how many sex acts with a given gender it takes to go back and forth from homosexual to herterosexual and back.

One bonus for the "conversion therapy" folks is under that theory - you ARE heterosexual if you have straight sex - all they have to do is get their gay clients to either have sex with a woman or remain celibate as long as their last sexual act was with a woman, and they're CURED! They are longer homosexual! Good way to boost the numbers I guess.

I think i'd be more likely to jump thru the window to escape like in "Bruno" and to never try again

I know someone who was told by a shrink to just think of naked girls while jerking off and that would do the trick. What the shrink didn't realize is most gay men try this as teenagers already

It's like they think back to high school psychology and we're Pavlov's dogs and all it takes is a little conditioning. When that doesn't work it's on to 'aversion therapy', time for the electric shock!

That's pretty funny and pathetic at the same time. I remember having this conversation many years ago with a grad of Liberty U. - Falwell's outfit - and he actually suggested the same thing. We all laughed but he was serious. But it's pretty inexcusable for a professional shrink to believe that kind of BS - that's 'lose your license to practice' bad, or at least heading that way on a bullet train.

Well like i said, if you're all of 12 and just starting to have gay thoughts, it's one thing to want to be 'normal' and try this. But then you quickly realize "I'm even having dreams of guys, nothing on this earth can make me like ***** instead"

You'd think 8 years training in psychology would be sufficient to understand that

But yeah as an adult, that 'therapy' defies logic in so many ways...If i force myself to think of my cat right before the moment of climax i will be tempted to screw my cat? If the study is correct that guys think of sex 19 times a day, that's more than of food! It would take a lot of conditioning for me to never crave my favorite food again and instead crave my least favorite

The fact that your post is about MEN ONLY marrying who they want says everything about what your interest is. It certainly isn't about BOTH genders, and certainly not about children.

Polygamy is against the law in this country. The laws created by both parties. The country has decided that it has a public policy in this area of concern, and it decided it this way, after trying polygamy for a while and seeing the results.

The law can be changed. Write to your Congress people and Senators and see if they'll propose a bill allowing polygamy (multiple husbands or wives...and since homosexuals can marry, that would include multiple men being married or a group of women being married).
