No Joy in Trumpville Today

The best I can give Trump is that, in the beginning, he didn't suck. I think that saying he did "well" might be stretching it some. I'll give him an "okay." But, on the other hand, the Trump bar of expectation is so low perhaps just being "okay" could mean he did "well." He seems to enjoy some kind of "dumbass-grading-curve" the other candidate is not afforded.

I think you are right about the grading curve.

No joy on the Trump Train??
Be reminded that 'denial' is only a temporary fix that ultimately fails.

Isn’t it interesting that the same people who voted TWICE for Obama,
are the same people telling me that Donald wouldn't make a good president.

If you voted for Obama 'TWICE', you should think seriously about sitting out the next election

Have you ever wondered why there are no Democrats on Mount Rushmore?
No…me either.

===================================================================

I only highlighted the part of that statement that isn't completely laughable in order to teach you a bit of history. Washington had no political affiliation, of course. Jefferson and Madison formed the "Democratic Republican Party" which became the dominant party of the South and later became known as simply the Democratic Party. The Whig party were the forbears of the modern Republican party and was formed in particular opposition to Andrew Jackson, the Democratic Party's presidential winner in 1828. That party fell apart in 1850 over the issue of extension of slavery into new territories. Northerners created the new Republican party while those in the South were known, as appropriately then as it is now, the "Know Nothing Party." The illustrious Millard Fillmore was that party's successful presidential candidate in 1856. Lincoln had been a member of the Whig party but joined the new Republican party and we know what happened in 1860. However, the last official party affiliation for Lincoln was the Union Party which was formed (by Lincoln loyalists from Republicans who refused to participate in that party's convention and Northern abolitionist Democrats when Lincoln could not get the nomination of the Republican Party in 1864. So that leaves just of those on Mt. Rushmore who was actually in the Republican Party. But we all know that today's Republicans would have nothing to do with a trust busting environmentalist like him today.

Most economist see Trump as "shaking" the economy to its knees. Is that what you are talking about? Another recession?

Certainly Trump's recycling of the now twice disastrous trickle-down economics is the recipe for that. How does Trump get away with calling himself a change candidate when all he does is sound like Dick Nixon and Ronnie Reagan. He's not a change candidate. He's a reactionary one. An anachronism.

are you saying that Hillary has the drag queen vote wrapped up? I would agree

There's an old saying about your sort: You got a lotta class. All ____; you've heard it. I don't need to put in there.

Actually that was from the left stream media. Apparently a lot of your compatriots are sick of the corruption.

What you consider "left" just tells us how far to the extreme, and I mean extreeeeeeeeeme, right you are.

Seriously...if what he had said to Hannity was on tape....it would be interesting. But Mr Trump, face it, you are on tape making a clear statement you were for the war.

So at the best...if he did tell Hannity that....it does not look good for him either.

I have to admit I was waiting for him to stomp his feet and say "why won't anyone call sean Hannity"

View attachment 67207867

Apparently this alleged conversation with Hannity occurred as a private telephone call between them. IOW, there is no public record of Trump's "opposition" to the Iraq War until 2004 when it was pretty obvious what a cluster**** it had become--so much so that even Trump felt comfortable saying so. But the idea the we'd accept the word of a knee-padding, rightwing BS artist and Trump toady like Sean Hannity just indicates how unbalanced Trump's mind is.

do you think attacking posters personally because they don't love Hillary is the sign of a good argument?

I dunno.

Don't think that's gonna work.

If the dude had a pair of ruby slippers, I think he would most likely be supporting Hillary. Just a thought.

Depends on if the closet door is open, some are not as brave and live a lie.

Maybe that's what Elton meant when he said goodbye to Yellow Brick Road. LOL!

Since when is freedom, liberty, the framework in which my country was founded, small responsible gov't, and lower taxes, extreme? I can't help the fact the kook globalist left is extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme. :)

LOL

Inflation is not low, go grocery shopping and compare the prices to 10 years ago.
Food at home makes up 8.23% of consumer spending. So why do you think that outweighs everything else? Go back 10 years and see how much a new car with satellite radio, blue-tooth, back-up camera and all the other features that come standard nowadays cost then compared to now. Or how much a 48" flat screen HD tv cost 10 years ago compared to now.

Oh, and food at home has gone up 23% in the last 10 years. That's an average of 2.1% a year. That's low.

"Don't love." Now that's hilarious orwellian phrasing for "haters."

Where are all those people now who were claiming last week that the polls showed Trump "won" the debates? I told them to come back in a week and, funniest thing, I don't see any of them here.

you trying to convince yourself that your support of the LB is justified or you trying to get those of us who think she sucks too much to be in office change our vote?

Shrugs...for me it's just the fun of watching the horse race. I can find plenty to dislike about both. But, last week, Trump was looking at a 65-35 chance to win Ohio. To fall back to 50-50 is a disaster.
