Report: Several People Injured In Houston Strip Mall Shooting

What the hell is going on in our world?
 
The shooter was allegedly an attorney:

At a 9:15 a.m. press conference, Houston Police Interim Chief Marth Montalvo said the alleged shooter was a local lawyer and there were "questions" surrounding his law firm. Montalvo said once the suspect's car is cleared, officers would conduct a search of both his apartment and social media accounts for clues regarding the shooting.

In the past, such a person would simply shoot or hang themselves. For some reason, a growing subset of suicidal types also try to kill a whole lot of other people first and it definitely isn't all "terrorism".



Are we angrier and less hopeful? Is it now stuck in a copycat feedback loop? I don't know...

The troubled Houston lawyer, who shot and wounded seven people, was wearing a vintage military uniform and had a Nazi emblem on him when he was killed by police, officials said.

Nathan DeSai also had two .45 caliber firearms and 2,600 rounds of ammunition as he peppered morning commuters with bullets near the corner of Law and Weslayan in southwest Houston, near upscale West University Place. Gunman experienced personal struggles before SW Houston shooting - Houston Chronicle
