How is the media, biased, more towards progressive-liberal values, conservative values or in both directions depending on the specific media outlets you may access? Explain your response.

In my observation, over the years, the below statements are true.
Based upon my experience with their internet/online news and editorial practices.
I do not watch television, and my exposure to TV news is limited to brief glimpses while stuck in a doctor's office waiting room.
I can only assume that their online news feed is the same as the stuff that their talking heads parrot and squawk out over the television speakers.

CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC - Reluctant to run any story critical in any way of Barack Obama or The Clintons. Reluctant to conclude that the latest (pick one, any one) mass murderer subscribed to the tenants of radical Islam.

MSNBC - Absolutely refuses to run any story critical of Barack Obama or The Clintons. Takes a special joy in running stories critical of conservatives and Christians.

Foxnews - Decidedly pro-right-wing. Takes glee in running stories of Barack Obama's dishonesty, Congressional corruption, and Hillary's latest medical episodes.

NPR - The official, government-sponsored press corps of the Democrat Party. Disturbingly boring, and utterly in contempt of all things conservative, Christian, or Republican.

The Times Of Israel, Spiegel Online, and France 24 - More or less official government news outlets of Israel, Germany, and France.

The reality is this;
If you concede that they are all biased in some fashion (some slightly, and most profoundly-so), and you understand what their editorial slant is,
by simply comparing and contrasting how they all choose to cover a story, somewhere in there you can divine the truth.

Most media bias is by omission - it is not possible to cover everything so the big media basically decides what is worthy of being (elevated to?) "national" news. To determine content bias one must compare multiple reports of the same news "event" from different sources.

Coverage of the recent shooting of Scott by police in Charlotte, NC became a "popular" news story. Some (most?) reports stress the fact that Scott was black yet omit (bury?) that the cop who shot him was black, Scott was armed, Scott was told (10 times) to drop the gun (and did not), Scott was using an illegal recreational drug and/or that Scott was a convicted felon. Obviously, most shootings by police are not considered news - why was this particular shooting by police selected for (designated as?) "national" news? Was it the fact that video was (said to be) available or simply the race of the "victim"?
