The good news is that the entire population on both sides of the political fence seems understand that the entire government is riddled by corruption and crime.

The bad news is that nobody cares as long as they get their own personal payoff.

We are a long way off the path that the Founders hoped we might follow.

They revolted over a Breakfast Beverage. Those guys were bad a$$! We are as weak and corrupted as our leaders and getting worse.

Jefferson cries in his grave over what we have done to his Declaration.

Stop diverting. The point isn't whether he used a pseudonym or not, the point is when he knew Hillary was using a private email server. Unless he's a complete moron (might be the case) or willfully ignorant (more likely), clearly he did know about Hillary's private email server before he said he did, and it wasn't from the news media coverage of the scandal.

My point is that the President lied. What point did you think was mine?

You asserted that the actions of the president were standard procedure. Due to this comment, I assumed that you missed the point of the post to which you responded which was that the president was caught in a lie.

There are various posts in this thread that seem to have missed the point of the OP. That does not lessen the meaning of the OP. It only exposes the lack of comprehension by those that don't grasp the meaning.

It seems like everyone who tries, in anyway to defend Hillary or their actions with the Clintons, gets caught in a lie.

I agree that Jefferson would be totally dismayed at what we have done to his Declaration and to the Constitution that evolved from it.

I am not quite ready to agree with you that nobody cares. That a great many of us do care is precisely why Donald Trump has a fair shot at becoming President of the United States. It is not because so many admire Trump all that much, if at all. It is because we know that to continue as we are is to move us ever closer to being one of those tired European societies with lowered standard of living, less opportunity to improve one's personal circumstances, and a sort of resigned acceptance, even contentment, to just maintain the status quo. Trump is the ONLY chance we have, however slim, of beginning the necessary process of breaking down the status quo achieved by the permanent political class in government. It sure as hell won't happen with a President Hillary Clinton.

It is absolutely incredible how often President Obama has gone to the microphone to insist that he didn't know. . .nobody told him. . .he learned about this or that or the other scandal in the same way the rest of us did, i.e. in the newspapers or on the nightly news. So why in the hell didn't he know? How could he claim to be on top of things or carrying out his responsibilities and not know? Why haven't heads rolled when he was not informed? And is he so detached or ignorant or out of touch that he wouldn't know he was sending an e-mail to other than a secure government e-mail address?

But again his supporters won't care. Her supporters won't care. They set the bar so low for what they expect of their leaders that the "D" after a name is sufficient qualifications. It is really sad. And scary.

Apparently, Obamahaters think he should have signed all his confidential emails to his cabinet members, including his SoS, with: "Yours truly, Barack Obama, President of the United States." I had almost come to think their hatred for this man couldn't drive them any further into insanity but that is, obviously, sadly, not the case.

Its the same hatred they have for Hilldog, some of which is deserved, some not. There are going to be lots of crying into cornflakes on Nov 9, lets hope sanity prevails, but I doubt it, this is the same electorate that voted for Bush2 twice.

Though a sideline, and I am not trying to derail the thread, but a more sensible solution to the DC cronyism is term limits for Congress. Many of the problems in DC are not rooted in the executice branch, but in Congress, members who have out stayed there welcome due to being in the back pocket of too many special interest. Two terms for the house, one for the Senate.

It's more the same electorate that elected Obama twice and despite the volume of the screeching from the rightwing deplorables, it's tending even more toward that electorate. I never make predictions about elections but the way things are shaping up now is pretty much the same way as it looked at this point in 2012.

Not really the point. The point is if he was mailing to an email address managed on a private (in other words not her .mil or .gov account) server he lied about not knowing about the private server.

Still, Hillary is so tech challenged, damn she needs a couple IT classes, she could have avoided this entire debacle from the outset by being honest, when she feels cornered she covers her ass, therefore the lies. Is it ingrained in her to lie all the time, I do not think so. Some canidates lie to protect themselves, other canidates lie on a daily, almost hourly rate because they can. As the writers of South Park alluded to, we have a choice, Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich? So true!!
