News, politics, and current events magazines

Hello, I'm trying to decide on which magazine to subscribe to. I'm very new to reading about current events and politics. I was never very interested in any of it, but that has changed. I'm looking for a weekly mag with good factual articles and less opinion. If I had to place myself anywhere I'm probably moderate to left. If it wasn't so expensive I'd go with the Economist. The magazines I'm considering are ,The New Republic, The Nation, The Week or Time. Any thoughts?
