Obama Administration Considers Arming Syrian Kurds against ISIS
“The Obama administration is weighing a military plan to directly arm Syrian Kurdish fighters combating the Islamic State, a major policy shift that could speed up the offensive against the terrorist group but also sharply escalate tensions between Turkey and the United States………
……..The plan has been under discussion by the National Security Council staff at a moment when President Obama has directed aides to examine all proposals that could accelerate the fight against the Islamic State…. . Obama has told aides he wants an offensive well underway…. aimed at routing the Islamic State from Raqqa, the group’s capital in northern Syria……….
…………to arm the Syrian Kurds is a difficult decision for Mr. Obama, who is caught in the middle trying to balance the territorial and political ambitions of Turkey and the Syrian Kurds, two warring American allies that Washington needs to combat the Islamic insurgency……….
………Directly providing weapons for the first time to the Syrian Kurd……. would help build momentum for the assault on Raqqa……. But (will) aggravate Mr. Obama’s already tense relations with Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan…….

Arming the Kurds will “kill two birds with one stone”……………
With the Kurd’s armed with tanks and with other heavy weapons are sure to put a real “hurt” on ISIS ……. and remind Turkey who butters their bread...... so to speak...
President Obama promised to all he could to defeat ISIS before he left office………as of now ISIS has been beaten back by an better trained and effective Iraqi army with the help of US air and special forces…….And has lost control of much of the ‘caliphate’ and almost all of the oil used to fund them………
and the UD Treasury Dept. has waged a “war” on IDID funding and seizing assets…….so much so ISIS has been forced to cut the pay to fighters by 50%........
ISIS has diverted attention and has engaged in terrorist attacks to cover up their weakness and pressure to create fear in the populous of the free world……….
The situation has become so dire ISIS is preparing for the total loss in Iraq and parts of Syria they control……..
Most of the UD is unaware of the progress President Obama has done to crush ISIS……..
And at home paints an entirely different picture of the dismal state of affairs being spread by Trump…..
Is anyone surprised at what “bas news” Donald days it is……….
