Yeah, the Pilgrim's tried this as well, it lasted all of one winter. Small sample I know, but can you point me to a place where United Federation of Planets is actually working? A place where you take an aptitude test at a very young age and the results determine your entire future role in society. Say that role is roofing, or construction. You grow up and become a construction worker, paid what the world order says you're to be paid, live where they tell you to live, and breed as many times as they permit you to. All the while, Suzy the obnoxious girl that sat next to you in class took the aptitude test and she got to be a bureaucrat, working in government, getting to decide what everyone else gets to do, and how much, and yet, she, as a matter of privilege gets to live in the swanky side of town, take leave to have a large family, essentially the rules don't apply to her. How long do you suppose that will work? How's it working in the EU right now?

This is so bizarre. It's like someone built a zig-zagging road that loops back on itself 5 times, using 18 miles worth of materials and labor to build a half-mile stretch of highway over flat ground and that only provides an offramp at the point where construction began.
