I believe in the right to self defense, strong military, opportunity for everyone, growing the Middle Class, defeating terrorists, and putting our flag on Mars by 2030.

I also support rebuilding our infrastructure and letting only people who want to part of our culture be US Citizens.

I think this behavior is unAmerican and unacceptable!

I also think calling refugees Skittles that would you kill you is unacceptable.

No Trump supporter will intimidate me!

The issue is however Trump and Hilary do represent America. For instance, Trump represents everything wrong with our culture, and Hilary represents everything that is wrong with our government.

Trump supporters and extreme SJWs can kiss my ass!

What is wrong with our culture? Do you really think the utopian culture where everyone loves everyone is ever going to happen? It's not.

So instead of idealism we should stride for open and spiteful bigotry? An overwhelming majority of the GOP are voting for a hateful, small-minded little man. I say that is a poor representation of our country and it's values.

I'm not sure I've ever seen it summarized better. Great post.
What is wrong with our culture?
Think of all the most memorable things our news networks have covered during this election season, from the start of the primaries until now.

How many of them are complex discussions of actual issues which would face a President? Can you even name three?

Our news networks (right, left, middle, doesn't matter) have become TMZ this election cycle. They do that because it is what is driving ratings. That is representative of our culture, that our society wants to elect a President based on the size of their gloves or whether someone gave a speech on Wall Street or if Mexicans really are rapists or if Trump supporters are deplorables. The actual discussion of facts surrounding the issues is very hard to find.

That is what is wrong with our culture.

No we should love who we love and hate who we hate and everyone should mind their own business. If X wants to hate Y as long as they are not physically attacking them STFU and get over it. It's no different than free speech, you have to tolerate speech you don't like if you want free speech to exist.

I'm totally stealing that line, it's awesome.

Thanks.

No, the attention whore, kardation/Paris Hilton culture. He's just a more wrinkly version of it.

Since we are electing someone to lead our government, the only one that should be disqualified in anyone's mind is Hillary. We don't vote on culture.

No one is saying speech shouldn't be censored or infringed. I'm not quite sure where you gathered that. But do you not truly see how someone can win the GOP primary on the belief that Mexicans are inherently raping our women as a cause for concern?

You are confused by liberal argument 101. You see when Trump said Mexicans are raping our women he meant the Mexicans here illegally that are raping our women, you just naturally want to believe he meant all Mexicans because it would be too difficult for you to accept the fact that Mexicans here illegally actually do rape our women and are now behind bars, not because of a systematic institution of racism, but because they actually raped women and that we do in fact need to secure our boarders.

That's absurd, as Americans we've always voted on culture. Historically speaking we've looked at candidates for their gender, race, religion, family lives and so many other nuances. If I remember correctly, people were hesitant to elect JFK because he was a Catholic. Hell even more recently there were rabid fools proclaiming Obama was a Muslim and somehow being Muslim is a bad thing.

And.....Ted Cruz happened. Don't forget him. It would be unfair.

Well we shouldn't, we're not electing a cultural leader we're hiring a government leader.

Here I was thinking you would be smarter than this.

Trump didn't say illegals, he said "immigrants" implying both legal and illegal. That, and other hateful rhetoric is the base of Trump's campaign. Again I'm left asking, "how does this not throw up red flags about it's voting base?
