A Princeton professor African-American studies, Eddie Glaude, is blasting President Obama for the "condescending" speech he delivered Saturday, during which he urged black voters to vote for Hillary Clinton. Failure to do so, Obama told the Congressional Black Caucus, would "insult" him.
Glaude appeared Monday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." Here's an excerpt:

After generations of propaganda and deceit pushed by Democrats against Republicans, I can't imagine a wholesale change of party preference in Black Communities. But I do hope they start paying attention to what has truly been going on and start taking action themselves.

Consider the lefts illegal alien policies. The data shows illegal aliens have decimated economic opportunity in Black Communities all over the United States.

What party has been the strongest advocate to put a stop to this illegal invasion?

Which party wants to reward illegal aliens and create opportunities not offered to legal residents?

How much money is being spent to take care of illegal aliens that could have been directed to address education and employment opportunities in Black Communities?

Whatever these communities do, I hope the almost unilateral support for the Democratic Party will change.

The Democrat Party has been lying to Blacks for decades...only to get their vote.......some Blacks are just as bad off today as they were 50 years ago. The ones that get a good education, get into Sports, Business or Acting, have done well, in spite of the Democrats.

I saw that this morning and was really surprised when he said that. Good for him. And this guy is a big time lefty who sees everything through the prism of race. If Obama offended him then maybe there is hope after all that blacks aren't just going to swallow every line of crap fed to them by the left any more.
 
Black academics tend to be rather yawnworthy and don't even like when Obama says the obvious that black folks need to do better even in the midst of systemic injustices, so meh.

btw....on the national news tonight, they didn't bother to mention that "if you don't vote for Clinton............ it would be an insult to me."

Clinton's name was left out of the reporting....still another example of the media obfuscating the truth...just like the shooting of the mall stabber by a competitive shooter and gun range owner.

That's quite a statement considering the left has made poverty and the attached social services an industry. Obama has as much in common with ordinary blacks as Colin Kapernick.
