Trump or Hillary will be one term presidents

That is my honest opinion.

And so?

Depending on which one is elected a lot of damage can be done in this upcoming term of office, even by a one-term President.

SCOTUS is the big concern, since any appointment(s) may have an enduring effect on the future of our nation.

If Trump loses I bet you will see the creation of a true bonafide third party in 2020 with a better candidate than Gary Johnson.

Hillary? She will have packed the battleground states with naturalized illegals and naturalized refugees and end the Republican based middle class by facilitating falling wages on a 2% growth economy.

Out of that will grow a third party in 2024.

I certainly hope so.

A year ago nobody thought that either Trump or Clinton could possibly be the nominee. Wouldn't surprise me to see one of them get two terms.

Yep, never underestimate the stupidity of a major political party. ;)

What, exactly, do you think any Clinton or Trump appointment(s) will do to upset the balance of how our system works?

Right now we have a 4 - 4 Court.

Whoever occupies the White House after the upcoming election will be appointing the ninth Justice creating a 5 - 4 Court. In all likelihood, based on the ages of the current Justices that new President might end up appointing and addition one - three Justices (ages 80, 83, and 86). Thus a strong majority of at least 6 - 3.

That means either a conservative or a progressive court for a decade or more into the future with all that entails for both the law, and more importantly Constitutional interpretation.

You didn't answer my question. Will a Hillary presidency nullify the second amendment? Will a Trump presidency mandate bad hair?

Dude, make yourself a white Russian, cop a squad on your favorite rug, and abide for the next 4 years. We'll let you know how things turn out. :coffeepap:
