Obama gets the blame for things he's responsible for. Like massive new debt, ObamaCare, destabilizing the ME, ISIS, the weakest post war recovery, lack of transparancy, flooding the Nation eith millions of illegals and just general corruption and cronyism

1. Probably just a smidge overly pessimistic, even with a worst-case scenario. Trump is a businessman; ruining America economically is not likely. He is not insane; Nuclear war is not something he's going to seek.

He effectively can as I understand it. The SecDef must concur with a Presidential decision to launch a nuclear attack but since the SecDef serves at he pleasure of the President he can be removed.

There was an article in the NY Times recently about concerns that his staff had about his launching an unwarranted nuclear attack. There was a apparently a lot of discussion what they could legally do to stop him - answer not much - and then more about what they could illegally do to stop or at least slow down the execution of an order.

I'll see if I can find a link to the article. It was enlightening.

The world will go on just the same as if Clinton won until it doesn't. If the Democrats hadn't given us such a bum baggage laden candidate, there would be no worry what so ever about a Trump win. Almost any other Democratic candidate would have been 15 points ahead instead of basically tied, but that was your choice. Live with it.
